Trump has proven he has no problem throwing the FC under the bus, even though Ryancare was essentially Obamacare.
Apparently trump feels reaching across the aisle to Dems is the better option.
Very disappointing, to be sure.
When a businessman runs into obstacles, he finds ways around them.
Trump ran on “repeal AND replace”, not “just repeal”.
It doesn’t matter how many times people post it on FR, “just repeal” is not going to happen. Deal with it.
I think The Donald will learn his lesson the first time he reaches his hand across the aisle and the Rats bite it.
The artificial deadline was imposed because polling data showed only 17% approval for the bill from the American people as the replacement bill headed to the House floor. The day before the vote the calls into my office were 700 against and 100 calls for the bill.
I question the intelligence and/or the sanity of anyone who expects an elected official to support a bill that has this kind of public support.
If Trump is sincere in his criticism of the Freedom Caucus, then what he's saying is that he expected them to be "political suicide bombers" in 2018 like we saw with the Democrats in 1994 and 2010.
“Trump has proven he has no problem throwing the FC under the bus”
No exactly true. Trump wrote a letter to the Freedom Caucus that guaranteed that their issues would be addressed in phase 2 of the bill.
