One by one the barriers are falling for an impending Trump triumph.
Ted Poe (R-TX), a U.S. Representative and former member of the House Freedom Caucus, has announced Sunday afternoon that he will be resigning from the group that aided in destroying the Paul Ryan-led GOPs attempt to repeal Obamas 2010 healthcare act.
The House Freedom Caucus has been under fire and was heavily criticized by numerous Republicans before the GOP healthcare plan fell apart on Friday.
The Texas Tribune got a statement from Rep. Poe:
I have resigned from the House Freedom Caucus. In order to deliver on the conservative agenda we have promised the American people for eight years, we must come together to find solutions to move this country forward, Poe said in a statement. Saying no is easy, leading is hard, but that is what we were elected to do.

>>>Everybody is blaming the Freedom Caucus when there were an equal number of liberal Republicans bailing from Ryancare.
President gave Freedom clowns written commitment and they dissed him.
Thus quoth the raven...
I don’t remember Trump pointing this out....did I miss something!!!!!
You are very smart and astute poster! The so called conservatives drive me crazy because they want 100% prity or else they walk. The result? Conservatives have nothing to show!
Obamacare defunded?
Foreign trade deficit of $800 Billion every year reduced?
Abortions reduced?
Planned Parenthood defunded?
ISIS defeated?
Less terror attacks worldwide by Islamists?
Less Americans on food stamps?
Americans earning more real wages than 2 decades ago?
Regulations on small business reduced?
National debt reduced?
Flow of illegals into country reduced?
Zilch, Zero, Nada......
Politicians who call themselves Conservative have achieved nothing significantly conservative.
Aha....but you forgot one salient fact...
Our “brave” politicians eagerly passed “repeal” bills in the House, knowing Obama was 100% certain to veto. Thus they were immune from the wrath of voters who receive subsidies for their health insurance (85% on Obamacare receive subsidies from tax payers to pay for their insurance).
Now that we have DJT in the white house, our brave politicians have lost courage to go on record as having taken away health insurance from 22 million voters.
All the more reason to bring it to the floor for a vote. Time to separate the wheat from the chafe.
Yes!! I am all for it. But the cowards will hide behind Paul Ryan’s skirts.
I want trump to be a 2 term president. He needs to be able to pass legislation that will grow the economy. Some or maybe all of that legislation will not be pure conservative doctrine. The main thing is we unite and help him be successful. If we are not careful we will have another Obama in 2020 and have absolutely nothing to show for it other than sticking to conservative principles.
