Criminal defense attorney, David Wooten blamed the ‘hysteria’ on this horrific crime on ‘disgusting vitriol that’s been spewed by Donald Trump’. Apparently a 14 year old girl being gang raped and sodomized by an 18 year old illegal immigrant man is enough to cause hysteria, it’s somehow Trump’s fault.

OK, I get that Md law says that a 14-16 year-old girl can give consent if her partner no more than 4 years older than she. But does she have to know his age for her to be able to give her consent or is it a case she says ‘yes’ to two guys and it’s just the luck or lack thereof of the guy’s birthday that makes him a rapist?
I understand this only covers the crime of statutory rape and in this case a rape is being alleged. One defense against rape is saying that it was consensual. Now is a jury going to take the word of the 14 year-old victim, or the words of two invaders from a distant land who happened to be her classmates?
In Maryland the lawyer might use Global Warming to get his clients off the hook.

This is the People's Republic of Maryland. I expect the jury to take the word of whomever they consider the most downtrodden. To me, that would be the 9th grade rape victim, of course. To liberals, that's the illegal alien rapist. Getting 12 votes to convict will be hard.

He’s just following the Hillary Clinton playbook of legal defense. Recall how she was able to get a child rapist off with time served, knowing full well he was guilty of the rape (she even chuckled about it), by attacking and demeaning the 12-year-old girl victim.
