Fine. Have the vote and then let the GOP go into the midterms explaining why after 7 years of Obamacare and control of the WH and Congress, the GOP was unable to repeal and replace Obamacare. Trump will be a one-term President and go back to being a billionaire. In 2020 the Dems will take back the WH and transition Obamacare to a single payer. The GOP lacks the ability to be in charge of the levers of power. It is a dying party that only was brought to life by Trump who understood how to communicate with American workers.
The Ryan bill is not what I want, but ripping out the mandatory minimum coverage requirements would be a huge plus over the current system. Obamacare will have to be dismantled in several steps - it is not going to happen in one bill, the votes just are not there for it.
The GOP is completely incapable of governing, Trump’s populism saved them this time, but that will be gone in moments. They are cowardly, that’s their biggest problem...that and they are really just there to collect money for themselves.
The GOP needed to die as a party anyway. Now they can in reality. They will hang around for a few decades as the ineffective opposition they’ve been meant to be since FDR. America is leftist-socialist society, and they will be “free” now to fully become the firmly-ruled socialist government they want.
Obamacare will become single-payer in about 4 years (under ancient President Hillary), and those tax cuts Trump wants - they are dead. The wall and a return to sane immigration - dead. The Establishment wins everything. The swamp wins. If Trump survives four years, it will be as an ignored eunuch, the new Buchanan. The government is constructed to o one thing - tax, print money and spend for the benefit of the oligarchs and the immigrant minorities that are their base of support.
