Speaker Paul Ryan rushed to the White House moments ago to tell Trump that they might not be able to pass the bill if they vote today — the votes just aren't there right now.

That’s just nuts on so many levels.
The Ryan bill is not what I want, but ripping out the mandatory minimum coverage requirements would be a huge plus over the current system. Obamacare will have to be dismantled in several steps - it is not going to happen in one bill, the votes just are not there for it.

Of course they don’t have the votes. Where the hell did Ryan ever get the idea that Republicans should pass an Obamacare-lite bill? We’ve been protesting against Obamacare ever since he brought it up and clamoring and voting for Republicans to REPEAL it! If Ryan doesn’t want top put up a clean repeal bill and or feels he can’t push one through, then he should resign and let a conservative take over!
He made many, many promises about what he would do with healthcare that are not coming to pass.
