Pulling the bill is actually a good thing for Trump in that it wasn’t what he said he would do and it shows just how ineffectual Ryan is as Speaker.

I call Bull$hit on the we must take it away slowly.

When the Government wants my money they never phase it in.

We could have bought every uninsured person in America a Cadillac plan for just the cost of the internet rollout of Obama Care.

Full Repeal.

You can put lipstick on this pig, but it is still a pig. Trump devoted a huge amount of personal time along with others in the Administration to push this bill. He held several huge campaign-style rallies to advocate the passage of the bill. He is in charge and will be held responsible for the failure to pass the repeal and replacement of Obamacare, which remains in effect.

The fundamental issue is government control of the healthcare industry. Lowering premiums is a red herring. Taking back freebies is another red herring. 24 million citizens losing health care is a third red herring.
Getting government out of the Dr’s office is the critical issue. That is the only thing the people who elected Trump insist upon. That is one thing the power mongers in DC absolutely will not give up.

Like to see Ryan go Hannity tonight and defend his 200 day pledge. Ryan needs to turn over the Speaker job to someone who can unite the party and accomplish things.

Reconciliation leaves the ACA in place under a new name AHCA. No matter how many budget items are gutted in the original ACA, the fact is that it still exists, although defunct. But the existence of ACA now labeled AHCA would allow defunct paragraphs to be reversed and written back in as soon as the democrats had control of Congress again. And they won’t need 60 votes to resuscitate the damn thing.

Using reconciliation is, therefore, a gimmick.

A full repeal kills ACA in its entirety and would force future democratic controlled Congresses to require 60 votes to bring it back. That’s not saying a full repeal would survive in the Senate but there is value in doing it in the House. That is explained below.

You might not know that in the mid-1930s the democrats had a health bill ready to go but backed off because too many things of socialism had been rammed through and Americans were starting to turn against FDR who had used the ‘tax’ ploy to ram through his social security program.

So in 2008 the democrats finally clinched enough for a filibuster majority and amid the worst financial collapse since the Great Depression they set about making a health bill as priority number one. It was all because they finally had the opportunity. Rome was burning but they had to do healthcare because so many decades had passed since the last opportunity.

The import of describing nearly 75 years before an opportunity would arise is to drive the point home that a full repeal would be expected to protect Americans from meddlesome government for generations.

Now, of course, the Senate won’t vote on a full repeal, but the House can and they should because it puts the monkey on the back of the Senate. Then McConnell can put the monkey on the back of democrats in the Senate when they filibuster. It would be a failure as well, but all promises would be held in place untethered and the republicans would look good under those optics.

The President could then usher failure upon all of Obamacare and let the markets that existed prior to Obamacare come back into existence. The state monopolies would still exist but the President could address those in separate legislation.

Then at least two things could happen to bring about a full repeal.

One is that the favorability of republicans could increase by smarter execution to cause more seats to be picked up in the Senate in 2018, a year in which many democrat seats are up for election.

Another occurs where the president plays hardball by aggressively prosecuting members of the Obama Administration for illegally transferring more than a hundred billion dollars from the general fund to Obamacare. Geithner resigned as result. This was in the news recently but has taken a backseat to the current Ryan healthcare skirmish.

A large majority of Americans will not complain about a government that is prosecuting wrongdoing especially when it involves a sum of money so large. As these funds were illegally transferred to Obamacare accounts for vote buying, a scandal would break out that would taint the democrat’s Obamacare so severely that it would be expected they would vote to end any filibuster that repeals the criminal Obamacare.

But all that requires the President to finish his honeymoon and come out ready to kill.

As Alberta’s Child wrote so concisely all that the President needs to do to see Obamacare implode, which it will this year, is to let insurers get a pass:

“The easiest way to let it collapse is to have insurers offer low-cost insurance plans that don’t meet any of the worst requirements of Obamacare. Let the HHS Dept. approve them as “compliant” insurance plans if any states are willing to allow them. The whole system will fix itself and Obamacare will end up in the trash where it belongs.”

The President knows this will happen as shown last week in a Facebook Livestream with citizens at a conference table in the White House where he clearly showed his mastery of all the issues facing Americans on this subject.

This whole thing with Ryan was precalculated to show Americans, who know the disaster that is coming in 2017 in Obamacare, that he, the President would try his best but if he was not able to help at this time that they should expect that Obamacare would collapse on its own while the press would fire away at him not being able to pass a repeal. President Trump foresaw every possibility that would fall out and he has many more plans to reveal. All of this was known before.

As for me, I am not worried. This was a skirmish and some democrats can think they won. Let them think that as the President prepares to lay a siege on them for which they will catch absolute hell from their constituents.

One thing I learned about Donald Trump in my last two years of research on him is that at his core, he has his father’s voice driving his thoughts and that voice is constantly saying “Don’t you give up! Don’t you ever give up!”

No. I was responding to the report that Trump had ordered the vote. It was on Drudge, among other sources. Actually, Trump ordered the bill to be pulled. It was pulled. My point was that Trump was in charge. Ryan went to the WH to get directions.

Right again.
