Seven years after enactment of Obamacare, I wanted to support legislation that made positive changes to rescue healthcare in America. Unfortunately, the legislation before the House today is currently unacceptable as it would place significant new costs and barriers to care on my constituents in New Jersey.

The bill failing will be the beginning of a real fix of our health insurance system, a market based fix instead of government based.
I think that’s a pipe dream. Democrats aren’t going to repeal this bill so you’re left with Republicans. They don’t all agree with the Freedom Caucus so what they think is going to happen is not going to happen. I imagine that if they had as much support as some on this forum seem to think then one of them would be speaker...You will never, I repeat NEVER get 100% of what you want in a bill coming out of congress.
Not a big problem for me, I only want ONE thing.
Market based insurance.
