How does one get his hands on that many hard drives? Unless of course he was in the IT department.

I have a whole pile of hard drives, unfortunately many hold under a couple of gigabytes.

I feel that I have paid for the product development of the whole non-volatile storage industry since about 1992.

Or if you really want to get hi-tech:

A full quad-core computer in a case not much larger than the normal USB stick. Can be used for keyboard emulations and NIC emulations while the processor can simulate a computer within the enclave.

You probably gave the correct answer. Important hard drives are usually kept in RAID arrays, so there are redundant drives that can be pulled with a blank inserted in its place, while the system automatically rebuilds the duplicate on the blank. Replace a hard drive from each array while replacing with a blank, and no one is the wiser if you can sneak out the removed drive. Over a short period of time, you can obtain 47 hard drives without the computer systems ever going down.

Seems like these intel agencies now pretty much are IT departments.

Obama apparently switched out every computer in the White Hut before he left, all those hard drives had to go somewhere, apparently someone got hold of them, or others tat were networked to the White Hut system.

Live by the cloud, die by the cloud.
