The Washington Post's Bob Woodward warned on Wednesday that there are people from the Obama administration who could be facing criminal charges for unmasking the names of Trump transition team members from surveillance of foreign officials.
House Intelligence Committee Chairman Rep. Devin Nunes, R-Calif., said earlier that he had briefed Trump on new information, unrelated to an investigation into Russian activities, that suggested that several members of Trump's transition team and perhaps Trump himself had their identities "unmasked" after their communications were intercepted by U.S. intelligence officials.
The revelation is notable because identities of Americans are generally supposed to remain "masked" if American communications are swept up during surveillance of foreign individuals. During an interview on Fox News, Woodward said that if that information about the unmasking is true, "it is a gross violation."

Exactly. For once I’d like to hear someone who is credible to the libs say that something is worse than Watergate. Who better to say that than Bob Woodward? He may NOT say it, but if he did, our nightmare of Nixon and Watergate being the baseline for all things evil would be OVER!

I saw that and you’re right.
The media is so busy with spin they are missing the most important fact that does not seem to be in dispute. No matter the legality of the eavesdropping there WAS NO LEGAL RIGHT TO UNMASK THE AMERICAN CITIZEN OR DISSEMINATE TRANSCRIPTS WHICH WERE SUBSEQUENTLY LEAKED. There are two crimes that occurred in that sentence AND there is a very questionable change of the rules by Obama that contributed to the second crime in the sentence.
This is disgusting and there is no way to sugarcoat it. One of the liberal heads on Fox today said today that the persons listened to were talking to “nefarious Russian actors” after Nunes clearly said the transcripts he read HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH RUSSIA! Nobody called him on it - lies, lies, and more lies on the supposedly fair and balanced Fox news.
There only one way for Trump to get the truth out. Call a press conference and lay it out point by point and tell the American people to decide for themselves. In that press conference have prepared video of the media punditry lying and continuing to lie. Make the overwhelming case himself because nobody (including Fox - minus a couple of personalities) will make the case for him. Fox waters down the truth by their compulsion to have the rat talking points represented in almost every segment - even when they are shown to not be true.

I agree. If you want to do some alternative research, Google his name and Howdy Doody. I imagine he will be suicided if he shows a breaking point.
You might want to add the name of Vitaly I. Churkin, the Russian ambassador to the United Nations to that research name list.
