I have come to the conclusion that there are many on both sides of the issues who don't want to work out differences, who only want to see the other side reduced to the point that their party will be in power, that they know what kind of country the United States of America should be, and they will settle for nothing less, the well-being of the people they are sworn to serve be damned.

I admit, that describes me pretty well. I want an America where people take care of themselves to the best of their ability, and respect the rule of law. I will settle for nothing less, and anyone who is opposed to taking care of themselves and respecting the rule of law can pretty much die in the gutter for all I care. I suppose I am meant to feel bad about this mindset, but I can't.
