In a letter to the Hawaii Republican Party on Wednesday, Rep. Beth Fukumoto wrote about the partisanship she saw from her colleagues on the right, which included criticism from her own caucus that she felt was due to her participation at the Women's March in Honolulu in January.
"This election, I saw members of my party marginalizing and condemning minorities, ethnic or otherwise, and making demeaning comments towards women," Fukumoto wrote in her letter. "So, when I listened as our now top office holder refused to condemn the internment of Japanese Americans during World War II, speaking out didn't seem like a choice."

“Rep. Beth Fukumoto wrote about the partisanship she saw from her colleagues on the right, which included criticism from her own caucus that she felt was due to her participation at the Women’s March in Honolulu in January.”
If she puts this Sisterhood shit above the cause of supporting this country, she really has NO BUSINESS identifying herself as a Republican.
This “Womans’s March” was a SICK EVENT that any woman, WITH ANY CLASS, would immediately DENOUNCE. She didn’t...and in fact sided with this sickness. So the hell with her.
Having said all that, if she does get around to ‘having a good time’ with high school boys, I would have to declare her as NOT GUILTY, sadly.
As were very white German and Italians.
The party that booed God at the 2008 DNC?
What a GREAT loss! Pele weeps, I am sure.
...”To be a Democrat, she has to become a victim”....
Being a snowflake feminist assures that!
F.U. RHINO Fukumoto.
Okay, I'll say it. The racist president FDR illegally imprisoned hundreds of thousands of American citizens without cause. Then, the majority of racist democrat justices on the Supreme Court decided (in Korematsu v U.S.) the imprisonment was correct. Yet, racist democrat voters continue to laud the racist FDR to this day.
Trump should consider selling Hawaii to Japan and use the proceeds to clean house in Puerto Rico and turn it into a new Hawaii for those of us in the east. Its a lot closer to fly there and the weather’s got to be similar.
It’s nice that she’s choosing to jump ship and join the dhimmicrats - just as they’re going under for the last time.
“Hawaii was once a vital site of a military base.Is this still the case? “

Yes.
.
Not to mention that little incident 24 miles to the west of her on a December morning 75 years ago.
Sour grapes she went to the press...
Internment:
The US had comprimised both JN-25 and Magic —they were reading Japanese signals.
After the attack on Pearl Harbor, the FBI naturally became MUUUUCH more interested in the traffick backlog of the last stuff right before the attack.
They leveraged all their resources on just that and blanched at the results —the Japanese pre-war commo got very technical, very low-level about prep for attacks on the US Defense Industrial Base across the continental United States; blowing up factories.
It included references to calling on Japanese-Americans as a personel resource to that end.
The US at the time couldn’t say, “We’re interning these people cuz WE ARE READING TOP SECRET JAP CABLE TRAFFIC, and it says we MUST do this...”
That would mostly be asking the Japanese to alter their methods, right?
That would have been totally nuts. So they simply said nothing, made vague sounds about “risk of contacting submarines”, etc.
The heroics of the “Go For Broke” Brigade were totally real but the notion that all recent arrivals had no love for the Empire of Japan is wrong.
Yup.
The second reason was because there was so much animus against Japanese in general that many were subject to hostility that was anything but gentle.
see post 33 above.
How can we expect people to remember Pearl Harbor,
When they have already forgotten 9/11/01?
And did she wear one of those stupid feminist hats?
TWB
I disagree with her, but she’s taking a stand. I think it’s an idiotic stand, but what the hey.
How many Democrats have we seen object to the things their party advocates?
That’s why I ultimately think Fukumoto has a screw loose. Look at what she’s leaving, and what’s she’s signing on to, providing she does become a Democrat.
Perhaps she’s going third party.
Thanks for that info.
