In case you don’t know...the first set of siblings have said Ivanka is the favorite.
In the 60 minutes interview..look at where Ivanka was sitting versus the rest of the family.
I don’t think Melania even wants to be part of most of this. I think she is content in NYC with Barron and her parents.
It will be interesting to see what happens.
Frankly, given the hostility..Barron might be better off in NYC than the cesspool of DC.
Ivanka is and always has been Daddy’s little girl. I believe within reason, President Trump has always given her whatever she wanted.
Fortunately, she’s very intelligent (hard not to be, given her parents) and he has always expected her to work for what she wants. I have seen no evidence that she has ever been an advisor, other than this is what’s happening here and this is what they want or expect at different aspects of the business. I believe he has always had an advisor role in her business plans and decisions.
Melania is also very intelligent and totally focused on her husband and son. I don’t believe she considers Ivanka a threat in any way.
I think Melania also has an intuitive grasp of people and events. She totally supports her husband, has complete faith in him and always shows up when she is needed. She is the one member of the family who knew he would win before he started and if you paid attention to body language and expressions, knew he would win on election night.
She and Barron can afford to be in NY right now. President Trump is working 20 hour days and doesn’t have time to devote to his family on an hourly basis. They come when he has some free time and are always with him and are always with him at Mara Largo.
I am not explaining well and I may be wrong but that’s my take on the family structure.
