The signs of jihadi indoctrination include suddenly quitting smoking, drinking, consuming pork; spending a lot of time in chat rooms; a sudden interest in learning about Islam or Arabic; a change in friendships; spending a large amount of time at a mosque or Islamic cultural center; judging others' behavior as not sanctioned by Allah; a change from Western clothing styles; and no longer listening to music or watching television. Parents should heed these red flags and speak frankly to their children about all types of influences and outside dangers.
As indoctrination progresses, it penetrates the psyche so deeply that once it has taken root, it is difficult to break away. Alex, a Sunday school teacher, met her "friend" Feisal, her radical handler, online. Alex showed signs of indoctrination, but by the time her grandmother discovered Feisal, it was too late: Alex was lost to radical Islamism. Even then, in the back of her mind, she wondered, how can these nice people be the same ones chopping off people's heads?

Islam must be understood for what it really is: Its not a religion, form of government, or anything recognizable to the civilized mind. Islam is a disease, an incurable disease of the mind that is highly contagious among the feeble minded and is now spreading among the worlds feeble minded at an epidemic rate. As with any disease, one cant reason with this disease, negotiate with it, or treat in a manner other than how one would treat any other incurable disease.
The signs of indoctrination include the onsets of atheism, same sex intimacies, constant offendedness, loving socialism, protesting often and wearing pussy hats.
The indoctrination centers are called ‘public school’ and ‘college’ an ‘TV’.
Returning the victims to normalcy is a long and difficult process, and sadly is often unsuccessful.
There is a perception in some quarters that Islam is a strong thing. And that’s understandable. Islam pushes, and the West doesn’t push back. Islam is “pure”, while the West waters down its principles.
All of that can be very attractive to some personalities. Much like the Nazi marching songs were very attractive to some personalities back in the 1930s.
It will take a great resolve to turn all of this around. That’s something we don’t have yet. Perhaps we will never have it, and the West will eventually collapse.
By the way, I would without hesitation add Bush II to your list of people responsible for all this. After 9/11 he could have crushed radical Islam into dust, just like FDR crushed fascism into dust after Pearl Harbor.
Think about it. After Pearl Harbor no one would have dared hold a Nazi party rally in the US. Yet today we have radical imams preaching freely in US cities. What a difference.
Bush went the nation-building route. That may prove to be the one decision that lost the West.
p.s. There was now another green on blue attack; i.e., Muslim Afghani soldier killing an American serviceman, in Afghanistan just now. I am willing to bet that the Afghani murderer/attacker was a nice guy up to the moment he murdered the American soldier in Afghanistan: Three U.S. soldiers wounded in green on blue attack in Afghanistan.
Suddenly quitting smoking, drinking.
A change in friendships.
Spending a large amount of time at a Bible-believing, gospel preaching church.
Judging ones’ own behavior in the light of the Word of God.
A change in clothing styles.
No longer listening to music or watching television.
These are signs accompanying a solid Christian conversion.
The grand exception is that we are not taught how wonderful it would be to sacrifice our lives in eliminating the world of infidels, but rather in a life of separation from the influence of the world, the flesh and the devil.
Big difference.
Of of the reasons that Islam is gaining quarter in our so-called ‘Christian’ nation is that so many ‘professing’ Christians live a lifestyle more in keeping with the servants of the devil.
In some cases, ‘Christians’ are the best advertisement for turning to the Koran in an ignorant world seeking for enlightenment and purity.
It was Ghandi that responded to someone asking him what he thought of Christianity, “I’d be a Christian if it were not for the Christians!”
