Eliminate the transfer tax and the 6 to 8 month wait for approval. I would buy a Ruger .22LR suppressor for my rabbit rifle and a suitable product for my 300BLK rifles for hunting. I've been reticent to tie up $350 for the Ruger device and $200 more for the ATF tax only to have that money and property sitting fallow in a safe at the dealer for 6 to 8 months. It will be Winter again before the approval would show up, so it would sit in my safe for another 6 months. Very hard to prioritize expenditures with that kind of delay and uncertainty.
