A constant stream of changes and scuffles are roiling Donald J. Trumps campaign team, including the abrupt dismissal this week of his national political director.
A sense of paranoia is growing among his campaign staff members, including some who have told associates they believe that their Trump Tower offices may be bugged

Commercial espionage is as old as the very business of commerce itself, and probably predates the advent of written communications. Eavesdropping is one of those compulsive human traits that evolved right along with the power of speech.
To claim it is not going on every day, is to claim that cockroaches or bedbugs do not exist. Just because you don’t see them, does not mean they are not there. But without taking stringent control measures, they are sure to multiply until they simply CANNOT be ignored.

I have long suspected that part of Mr. Trump's business success was an ability to keep his inner-most thoughts and plans very private. An informed business opponent can be more prepared.
Somehow, Possibly via hand-written notes, or trusted/vetted messengers, communications were made.
Years ago, I worked with a guy that had a method of vetting all the newbies to the company. He would take them aside, befriend them, seemingly earn their trust and quite casually drop a comment, a rumor if you will, as if it was common knowledge within the insider group. Then he would sit back and see if that rumor ever circulated. After a few years, whenever we heard a particularly juicy rumor, we would call him up and ask if it was one of his. He always laughed and would say, "Ha, that is a good one!"
I really think some of those early visits to Trump Tower became part of that vetting process. Those that ran to the press to blab all they knew slowly fell into disfavor. I don't think Mr. Trump pulls the plug quickly, but the vetting has been accomplished.
The Birther plan would be to prove the Obama was never qualified to have been elected, that he knew it all along, and thus his entire 8 years were a total scam. I think this is still an option and why Trump swept it off the table to abruptly in that news conference with the CMH soldiers.
