Conservative radio host and best selling author, Michael Savage was left bloodied and shaken after he was physically attacked at a San Francisco restaurant.
The attacker also kicked his 10 lb grey poodle, Teddy who is always with him.
WND reports:
Savage, with his dog, Teddy, was finishing up dinner Tuesday night at Servino Restaurant in Tiburon, California, north of San Francisco, when the unnamed assailant charged up to Savage and began yelling, reported local media blogger Rich Lieberman.
The attacker kicked the poodle out of the way, grabbed Savage and threw him to the ground, according to an eyewitness.
Savage was not seriously hurt, but the incident left him bloodied and shaken, Lieberman said.
Savage’s attorney, Dan Horowitz, told the blogger he will seek criminal charges.
“We’re going to seek felony charges against the man, and we’re going to investigate this as a hate crime because of Michael’s political views,” Horowitz said.
In a statement to Lieberman, Savage said he was leaving the restaurant “when a total stranger followed me out of the restaurant and confronted me.”
The man said, “Are you Michael Weeeeener?” mocking the radio host’s legal name, Weiner.
Savage said: “I turned to him and said, ‘Go away, I don’t know who you are.’ I turned to leave and he pushed me and I fell down. He moved toward me to push me down and he shoved my 10-pound poodle out of the way to get to me.
The leftists are the true fascists as they resort to violence whenever a person has a different political opinion than they do. Michael Savage is a 74 year old man. It takes a true coward to attack a man his age.

That's what I though, until I read a few more sentences down, and the article said it was actually located in Tiburon, CA.

I think if you actually read the article you will find that Mr. Savage was attacked as he left a restaurant in Tiburon, which is across the Golden Gate Bridge in Marin County.

I’ve just spent more than half an hour responding to Freepers who e-mailed me supporting my comments to the two of you (and this goes for some of the other “christians” who took exception to my comments). I suppose to bigoted folks like you it is probably of no consequence, but there is a large group here on FR who are continually offended by your pedantic pronouncements, who prefer not to engage with the likes of you. But rest assured, I am not alone in my assessment of your aberrant behavior. Sure, you are free to spew your hatred for San Francisco, gays, and whatever else blows your skirts up, but many of us find it moronic, distasteful and unworthy of the bandwidth you utilize “expressing your views!”
In the 80’s I was motoring down Market St on my way to the SF airport to return home. It was close to noon. The female passenger (wife of my friend in the front passenger seat) in the rear seat called our attention to the activity on the sidewalk to our left. We were stopped at a traffic light. There to our shock was a man on his knees performing oral sex on another man. Other pedestrians were walking by and no one seemed surprised or offended in the least.
It must be worse now than then.. I have not returned to SF since, nor will I. You can have your Hellhole.

You do realize that many writers aren’t very good.
And besides for the 3rd time; I have actually been to Tiburon and know where it is specifically.
