Donald Trump consigliere, Roger Stone, was reportedly in a car accident. Stone appears to have escaped mostly unscathed, tweeting about the close call Wednesday afternoon.
Stone said he suspected foul play was at work.
“It didn’t seem like an accident to me,” Stone told the site. “I am a consistent critic of the Deep State that’s why I think I’m targeted.”
Stone was reportedly headed to the hospital.
Mediaite has reached out to Stone for comment.

Stone has made hundreds of political enemies of every stripe since coming on the scene during the Nixon years. I don’t know that he’s ever had a titled position in any administration.

You go ahead and think whatever you like, but Stone was poisoned or something. It was an overnight thing.
He’s not that now, but his friendship with Trump goes back decades, and Stone has advised him on politics for a very long time.
There are nonlethal doses of just about any poison.
