Soviet defector and KGB operative Yuri Bezmenov, specializing in the fields of Marxist-Leninist propaganda and ideological subversion, warned us about the silent war being waged against America and the West as part of a long term plan to destroy our system, culture, traditions, and even our will to survive.
It's been apparent for some time that they succeed brilliantly in brainwashing a significant chunk of the American populace. In Western Europe, the damage is far greater. Western academia and the mainstream media have taken the baton and run with the Soviets' old subversion efforts.

Our own First Lady grew up under communism. Like so many who lived in the Eastern Bloc countries or Cuba under communist regimes, our Melania loves and appreciates America.

I think you misread. I agree that it is very relevant. I just said it was not released today. It was posted on Youtube some time ago.
I’ve seen it before, but I did re-watch the whole thing.
I also added another post when I realized that the title mentions that this is from 1985. So my initial post, complaining that using today’s (or actually yesterday’s) date being inaccurate, was not really necessary.
At first I thought the wrong date being posted was intentionally misleading, but then I saw that it wasn’t. My bad.
I know that’s in her heart; and if it happens i’ll be personally over the rainbow. But how will it be received with the younger generations. They’re completely demoralized.
I worry that there’s so much damage done. Are there enough of us left that have passed on the birthright of freedom?
That’s what bothers me.

For the millennials, maybe. The generations behind them may have a chance. We’re moving towards school choice which is YUGE.
I think a lot is riding on how successful President Trump is at disempowering the globalists and other evil doers. Ideally, America will go back to being a bulwark against tyranny and oppression.
We’re being tested right now. The Left is throwing everything they’ve got at the President. It’s all hands on deck for them. Trump’s still standing.
These next few years will tell it. If the President is successful, and gets to nominate 2-3,Supreme Court justices, we can steer away from the berg in time.

Bezmenov was prophetic even after the fall of the USSR, the same players are in control, and with the same general agenda, that being of the US being Glavni Vrag (the main enemy).
