Rep. John Yarmuth (D-KY)suggested on Monday that President Trump does not have the mental capacity to serve as commander in chief.
This is not somebody, in my mind, who is emotionally stable enough to be president of the United States, he said on MSNBC on Monday. I have real serious concerns about this.
Specifically, the representative wants a president who will take a 3:30 a.m. phone call, but will not stay up all night tweeting.
I think thats what we have, Yarmuth said. We have a president who is up all night, whos tweeting at all kinds of crazy hours, whos making unsubstantiated claims that are really dangerous, whos concerned himself with trivial matters like the ratings of The Apprentice.'"
I dont understand the criticism here. Is an insomnia-prone president not preferable to one who is fast asleep at moments of crisis?
Contrary to liberal rhetoric, Trump has done much more than tweet since entering the White House. Hes been meeting with business leaders, foreign presidents and prime ministers, and just about everyone in Congress, to pursue policies he believes are in the best interests of the country - all the while signing executive order after executive order.
Since many of Trumps actions are undoing President Obamas agenda, perhaps it's no surprise that Yarmuth prefers he remain in bed.
It’s like for the cost of a vote we get to watch a Great 8 year movie :)
Hillary sleeping 18 hours a day. Bed in her campaign van. Bed in her airplane.
Yeah but Trumps worse. Right.
How is this stuff the famous peaceful transfer of power?? These creeps need to shut up now.
I’m concerned about Yarmuth’s whining and pouting. I’m afraid he might start flouncing about the room bouncing off walls. And nobody likes a bouncy flouncer.
I have real serious concerns about this.
He also has a “real” poor command of the English language.
So the basic idea is, if you are a stupid douchebag, then you worry about whether Trump can take a 3:30 am phone call while he is up at 3:30 in the morning. I don’t worry much about guys like this putting on their socks correctly, I just worry that they infest government.
hmmmm. this guy was a republican until 1985, then switched. reagan’s second term . . .
Just another worthless dickhead RAT from Kentucky. Why, Oh why does KY do this to the rest of the country? They must be all hitting the Jack Daniels way, way too hard.
Poor baby is a concern troll congresscritter who’s being out-thunk, out maneuvered and out-paced by our energizer bunny President. Go BIG, or go home, congressman. Mostly just go home.
This guys problem is there is a new Enquirer story out that says Trumps IQ is 163 which makes him second only to John Quincy Adams...mix that with the fact he beat 17 opponants and plays three dimensional chess while the media and democrats play a lousy game of old geezer checkers no wonder they are grabbing at straws....this will be the most fun four years in my 7 decades on the planet! Thank you Donald J Trump!
I think that's what bothers this guy.
Been hearing that crap my entire life.
I go days without sleep sometimes and mostly I’m good after only 4-5 hours of sleep.
Some of us just don’t need much sleep.
“whos concerned himself with trivial matters like the ratings of The Apprentice.’””
Like March Madness brackets....oh that was the last what’s his name. Never mind.
And the sequel will be pretty sweet...
If memory serves YarMOUTH is the only DemoCrap in the house from Kentucky.
Go Governor Matt Bevin! I love this guy.
Congressman, just do your job, go figure how much of a raise you are going to give yourself, and let president Trump do his job of bringing back the jobs to the American workers.
I knew someone who only slept 2 hours per day. She was a computer programmer who once worked with Bill Gates. One of the smartest people I ever knew.
Kentucky produces this guys' descriptive drink: Wild Turkey.
Obviously this Dem isn’t doing his job if all he’s concerned about, is how the President is spending his time. I’m 69, and don’t go to bed until after 3 a.m. or later. I worked 3-11 most of my adult career, and sometimes I had to work double shifts. There’s no way I could go to bed and fall asleep any earlier than that. And as far as I know, I still have all my mental capabilities. I might be a deplorable, but I’m not mentally ill.
