The Obama administration doled out more than $77 million to promote the former president’s signature health-care legislation in what could be its final full year of existence, contracts obtained by The New York Post showed.
They show the federal government contracted with Democratic-leaning public relations firm Weber Shandwick to spend $74.15 million on July 28, 2016, and another $3.69 million on Sept. 9, 2016, promoting the plan.
The Weber Shandwick contract was signed by Pam Jenkins, president of the firm. Its chairman, Jack Leslie, was picked by Obama in 2009 to be chairman of the US African Development Foundation.
Leslie donated $1,000 to Obama’s 2012 re-election campaign and $2,700 in December 2015 to Hillary Clinton’s failed presidential campaign.

REFERENCE--ACA SEC. 4002. PREVENTION AND PUBLIC HEALTH FUND.
(a) PURPOSE. It is the purpose of this section to establish a Prevention and Public Health Fund (referred to in this section as the ‘‘Fund’’), to be administered through the Department of Health and Human Services, Office of the Secretary, to provide for expanded and sustained national investment in prevention and public health programs to improve health and help restrain the rate of growth in private and public sector health care costs. (b) FUNDING.—There are hereby authorized to be appropriated, and appropriated, to the Fund, out of any monies in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated—
(1) for fiscal year 2010, $500,000,000;
(2) for fiscal year 2011, $750,000,000;
(3) for fiscal year 2012, $1,000,000,000;
(4) for fiscal year 2013, $1,250,000,000;
(5) for fiscal year 2014, $1,500,000,000; and
(6) for fiscal year 2015, and each fiscal year thereafter, $2,000,000,000.
(c) USE OF FUND.—The Secretary shall transfer amounts in the Fund to accounts within the Department of Health and Human Services to increase funding, over the fiscal year 2008 level, for programs authorized by the Public Health Service Act, for prevention, wellness, and public health activities including prevention research and health screenings, such as the Community Transformation grant program, the Education and Outreach Campaign for Preventive Benefits, and immunization programs.
(d) TRANSFER AUTHORITY.—The Committee on Appropriations of the Senate and the Committee on Appropriations of the House of may provide for the transfer of funds in the Fund to eligible activities under this section, subject to subsection (c).
When obamacare first came to light several years ago, there was this figure that something like 30 million Americans did not have health insurance.
Certainly, for sure, it would have been much cheaper to set up a 1 million dollar healthcare trust for each uninsured American.
But then, back to reality, obamacare was never about healthcare. Betcha over half of the supposed 30 million are still without insurance with another hundred million more miserable because of obamacare.

BTW I had a pitched battle of words with a couple of VA retirees who kept telling me that the veterans are not under ObamaCare and that it was not effecting their lives...
They denied that the VA’s own website mentioned ObabamCare and scoffed and ridiculed and told me that someone was lying to me ...I said yes you are...
They both had worked in the area of denying veterans C&P Compensation and pensions ...
They said that the boards were made up of attorneys ??? why not doctors ???
No wonder veterans are denied and it takes YEARS to get benefits...
