I would feel the same way...except...why the public show of the President’s support for this three-headed RINO-care dragon? Is it a feint...or...is Trump sincere in this support?
The GOPe are blackmailing Trump over tax cuts. They don’t want to turn off the spending spigot that they cut a cut of via lobbyists.
Don;t get me started on the mail around here. Frigging useless mail men and women , always 3 different ones a week who never can deliver a simple letter to the right address, and some times at gone 5.00pm
SO why are he and Pence both out there pushing it?! Its maddening!!! Its obamaesque!!!

Also disheartening listening to him say it’s going to be a “beautiful” thing!
I just cannot believe he would disavow a pillar of his campaign and flush his base down the shit*er for Paul Ryan...
Agree 100% with JimRob on this one. The Republican Party ran on FULL REPEAL and they need to deliver on that now that they both houses of Congress AND the presidency. They passed a FULL REPEAL numerous times when Obama controlled the White House and could veto the bill. NO EXCUSES!
Anything less or any attempt to keep the "good" parts of Obamacare and/or amend it to produce a "better" version will be a betrayal of that promise. AFTER full repeal has been passed and Obamacare has been left in the dustbin of history, THEN we can start over from scratch and discuss alternates (and my preference would be to "replace" Obamacare with nothing.)
The public (and that includes Independents) WILL punish Trump & the GOP during the midterms if they simply give us Obamacare Lite.
Bump!
Well stated. It is time for President Trump to honor his campaign promises.
This country needs him for 8 years, not 4. If Ryancare passes, he will not be reelected.
In other words, don’t become a “read my lips, no new taxes”.
I will also add that HRC must be prosecuted. No, she is not a “good person”.
Too many RINOs, better to not strike at the king unless you can kill him.
If more districts had Cantorized their weasel as ours did that might have been possible, but until that happens the RINOs are in charge.
Yep. Conservatives pound their chest and grandstand.
But they won’t even put up a candidate to challenge Ryan.
I understand Trumps Naivety on this communist health care. very few have the defining vision of evil that I have. Trump is above all a pragmatist. But this is COMMUNISM DONALD!!! If you don’t crush this you loose 25 million of us on the right side of America and we WILL NOT BE SILENT.!! Your instincts are correct here. Please assume that Ryan the Rino is a boehner butt boy TRYING TO SCREW YOU!! Simply INTRODUCE YOUR OWN BILL!! Get this communist crap out of it.There are plenty of changes that will work but here is the big change — GET THE DAMNED GOVERNMENT OUT OF OUR HEATH CARE!! do a VA for the poor and preEXisting that won’t pay for their HIGH RISK POOL!! I don’t want to pay for their HIGH risk pool and I will NOT!! I have the answers. DO A VA FOR THE POOR but get me back to a fre market, RINMO CARE IS COMMUNISM!! We take care of the poor with safety nets but get the government away from those that pull the cart.
So predictable.
While I agree with your comments...I think the President knows this is a massively complex problem and I’d be shocked if he believes this first bill should be the final one.
I’d be more inclined to believe that he wants “the deal” to go back and forth and have some creative brainstorming, resulting in something that we can all live with in this imperfect world.
Any “solution” that doesn’t reduce costs is a deal-breaker and I don’t just mean slow the rate of increase. I truly believe that the main problem is that both patients and doctors are spending other peoples money and there’s little incentive to do anything other than “give me the works” anytime medical care is needed. It can’t just be, purely, an insurance model, there has to be incentive for the patient to shop around to save money. Liability (lawsuits) need to be addressed, out-of-state competition for insurance and market competitiveness are the only things that will drive down costs and increase care quality.
I think the President knows this. No matter what was first presented, it would be attacked by both sides. He may have asked for something that nobody would particularly like to begin with, just to begin the process.
Is it Ryan Care or RINO care? I am getting so confused at this point. And I am not alone. Nancy progressive Baltimore Mafia Thug D’Alesandro daughter Pelosi is also confused.
"I will work with Congress to introduce the following broader legislative measures and fight for their passage within the first 100 days of my Administration:
"Repeal and Replace Obamacare Act: Fully repeals Obamacare and replaces it with Health Savings Accounts, the ability to purchase health insurance across state lines and lets states manage Medicaid funds. Reforms will also include cutting the red tape at the FDA: there are over 4,000 drugs awaiting approval, and we especially want to speed the approval of life-saving medications."
THIS WAS BEAUTIFUL, Jim. Signing on! Please, Mr. President, do not sign and endorse RINOcare.
P.S. Ahnold caved under this pressure. You don’t want to be like him, do you, Mister President??
I always get the feeling, with his perpetual smirk & the way he holds himself that he fancies himself quite a stud. YUCK!!!! Double YUCK!
We’ll see how this plays out.
I pray for and support Donald Trump as the president.
He was obviously the best choice.
Ryan and McConnell can go pound sand. They are crooked and bought and paid for by big corporations, banks etc. etc.
Compromise seems to be the thing in politics but the time
for that stuff is over.
If Trump would stand up to them on this issue, I think we’d all be behind him.

That’s the way I read it.
