Preet Bharara says he was fired "moments ago." He reiterated that he did not resign his post as Manhattan's federal prosecutor.
"I did not resign," Bharara said in a tweet. "Moments ago I was fired. Being the US Attorney in SDNY will forever be the greatest honor of my professional life."

The prosecutors, the Justice Department has to do that, he explained. Now, as I understand it, Preet Bharara, the Manhattan prosecutor, has gotten ahold of some of this. From what I hear, hes a stand-up guy, and hopefully he does the right thing. >>>
Evidently, Preet Bharara was not aggressively pursuing all the evidence he had. Somehow I think our new President will have a replacement in mind who will.

. Id more to think this might not only be about the CLINTON Foundation but the Huma/Weiner computer. Remember the NYC police said they would prosecute if DOJ didnt. Seems to me that this case would have fallen under his jurisdiction.
****
The recent video from George Webb indicates that the evidence has been at the very least brushed aside. No one has taken up the evidence on Huma’s computer to prepare for charges.
Around the 3 min mark - “no assessment has been done yet”
3:09 min mark - “correct jurisdiction (for Awan itgate) would probably be DC”
4:00 min mark - “try to get Comey and McCabe to recuse themselves”

Thanks good information.
It appears Sessions is cleaning house so he can take on the big guys.
He has several assistants who are career people and more than likely have done the majority of the work. They will continue to take it to the criminals. Maybe with more gusto than their political supervisor

How long does Hillary retain her diplomat passport?
I am looking forward to finding out. Since Trump reversed his decision to keep Bharara but Bharara then chose to posture as a wronged party and demanded that he be publicly fired, my guess is that Bharara is in the wrong and that: he was learned to have a skeleton in the closet; talked out of turn, made disparaging comments about, or imposed unacceptable demands on Trump or Sessions; or that, with his future with Trump seemingly assured, he secretly committed to burying the Clinton Foundation probe to protect his future with the Democratic party and New York’s voters. Trump’s unattributed account will probably appear in the NY Post by the middle of next week.
She should relinquish it when she is no longer in office I’d say if she travels now it will be on her private citizen passport.
I expected your response would be something like that.
Good for you. Now, what about Indians taking our jobs, what about India not taking back people we want to deport? Defend that or do you give India and all Indians a pass for one good Samaritan? And if you do, then all of the so stories about every group of illegal alien wins the day and we might as well give up on securing our borders and kicking out every illegal alien in the US, denying them jobs, denying them social services because, there’s always a sob story to justify their presence. Sorry, no sympathy. Thank the Indian, then have them deported, send them a Christmas card at the end of the year.
Like Fitzgerald was in Chicago
That is an amazing graphic!
sigh.....
And I just saw a tweet that confirmed that:
Schumer liked him because he was Chuckie's mole. https://t.co/sidC7FB5mZ— PolitixGal (@PolitixGal) March 12, 2017
Schumer is part of the leftist satanic deep cover shadow government
It was extremely overdone because of what D'Souza uncovered and put out there.
This smarmy fed attorney did NOT do his job of bringing his cronies/fellow travelers to justice.
He and Schumer can have a love fest of hugs now.
Don’t expect proof from editor-surveyor
He never has backup for his criptic/misinformed statements.
As you can see from his tagline, all freepers are much smarter than he is.
Good! I am glad he is gone. Perhaps you and he can go to work for obama. Then you , he, and I will be happy.
So do I.
Seconded
We are right to oppose excessive immigration, but we should not overlook that, mostly excepting Muslims, the children of unassimilated immigrants usually become Americans in full and go their own way -- even the children of immigrants from India. We can and should do more to accelerate and strengthen this process.
Have you read the posts on Free Republic? We have our share doing the same thing. That he was appointed by obama the voter’s choice muslim should tell one all they need to know. But obviously it doesn’t
When a US Attorney is handed a job, he has two choices, either get busy with it or resign.
So yes, it was his job.
Any sane person would have said the D’Souza case was less than a slap on the wrist. Pay a small fine and a few weeks of community service. But the Obama DOJ was not a sane place. It was a vindictive place.
Why Bharara pursued the D’Souza case with such intensity is a mystery. You and I are not privy to exactly what went on. There’s a story there that is not understood. There’s a story because the same Bharara also would not relent on his pursuit of the Weiner-Abedin case.
The best that circumstantial facts point to is that Bharara was caught in the crossfire between FBI agents, Congress (Schumer), Holder and Lynch.
Perhaps the truth is that Bharara tried to do what so many fail at which is to please everyone. In a setting so liberal as NYC, he was bound to fail no matter what he did.
The reason your comments are not getting a gold medal BTTT here is because you’re presenting only one side in a NY liberal setting. It’s easy to throw spitballs at Bharara, he most assuredly deserved some of that for the intensity with which he hammered away at D’Souza. But D’Souza also had a defense attorney who could have traded winks, nods, and a plea with Bharara. Where was this defense attorney? Who was the judge? There’s where a large part of the story resides.
Bharara has a story to tell and it can’t be credible unless he comes clean. Now that he’s no longer a federal employee, maybe he will have time to reflect on what’s really important in life.
There are some FBI agents that were said to have gone ballistic when the pressure came down from the top for Bharara to drop the Weiner-Abedin case.
I imagine these FBI folks were very pleased that Bharara stood up against the Obama regime and refused to drop the case.
Those FBI folks need to find a writer to tell the story, or one of them can retire and write the story with some help. The same writer could pull in both these FBI folks and Bharara to write an accurate portrayal of the events.
