On Thursday evening, precisely 49 days, five hours and 11 minutes after Barack Obama was no longer the president of the United States, the conspiracy-enthusiastic site Gateway Pundit posted a new story: "Breaking: Malik Obama Tweets Alleged Barack Obama Birth Certificate In Kenya" Gateway Pundit never met an anti-Obama or anti-Hillary-Clinton story that it didn’t like. On any number of occasions, the site’s articles have been demonstrably false, as collated by the liberal watchdog group Media Matters. Despite that — or perhaps because of its ferocious defenses of then-candidate Donald Trump over the course of 2016 — an employee of the site was recently granted credentials to join the White House press corps in the briefing room for daily administration briefings. The site’s story about the new birth certificate was written by Jim Hoft, the founder of the site. It’s little more than a write-up of a tweet from a man named Malik Obama, who is the half brother of the former president and who, over the course of the past year or two, came to embrace Trump and the online community that supported the Republican nominee for president.

Regardless of the veracity of the story, the fact remains that the guy who calls himself Obama still hasn’t proved his identity enough to satisfy a liquor store clerk.

If it belonged to a guy born in the 1890s, that guy is likely either dead and gone or a minor celebrity due to advanced age (in which case, you need a link).
If, as is almost certain, he's indeed dead and gone, that SSN should show up in the SSDI. Does it?

But I’m 95% certain that his so-called “birth certificate” is a fake, a fraud, a forgery, just like the man himself.

Here we are after all these years, still guessing about the bonafides of someone who claimed to be qualified to be POTUS. It will turn out to be the most disgraceful chapter in the history of the U.S.

I am not so sure. If President Obama had noting to hide, why did the White House put forward a birth certificate that was an obvious fraud?
The more time and energy the left takes to fight this story, the more it makes me consider that there is fire somewhere in all the birth certificate smoke.
A lot of people don't believe that. And presenting another obvious fraud of a birth certificate does nothing to make the case that he was born elsewhere.
Is the WaPo referring to itself, here? (Or maybe the NYT...)
