NO ONE likes Version 1 or even Version 2 of the GOP healthcare bill. Not the House, the Senate, the conservative media, even Ryan admits it needs work.

Maybe soon we’ll figure out his strategy here in pushing hard for this crap. But right now - he’s got us confused.
Well, I more pay attention to Twitter, and what I heard him say there is that he’s listening to us and our worries about this bill.
I prefer to believe what Trump himself says than what some unnamed source says he said in some fake newspaper.

I don’t understand why people here think Trump was going to magically become a small govt guy. He is for more efficient govt, not at all the same thing. He loves our federal entitlements and has always been clear about that.
Entitlements are the only problem which is as big or bigger than the illegal immigration problem, partly because entitlements encourage more illegal immigration. But while Trump is great on one, he is not likely to be any help on the other.
Ryan originally was the exact opposite. He was the Donald Trump of entitlement reform some years back, wanting to shift them all to the states eventually. A goal which would have made America great again in a VERY bigly way.
But Ryan was always soft on immigration. And now is comically misguided on entitlement reform as well if the Obamacare Lite bill is any indication.
You get a wall. Plus healthcare slavery.

Trump plays no chess. He will vote a turd to put his name on it. And Ryan is setting Trump up for Ryan’s bribe to own a mansion.
Trump has no ‘heart’ to deny medical for welfare bums,
