Sounds like some clear Hate Speech going on too which should trigger a jury instruction on punitive damages.
The victim is also from a protected class, he’s gay, so that neuters the fact that he’s politically conservative from a media sympathy standpoint in a lot of ways (though that didn’t help Milo much).
It won’t help him either as he is a conservative.
