Is this micro-aggression? Seems pretty harsh for “cultural appropriating”, if in fact that is what is going on. But who is the aggressor, and who is the aggrieved? The white girls, for wearing the “hoops”, or the Latinas, for sniping at them for even considering such an affront to racial pride?
And just what race does a “Latina” belong to, anyway?
