Comey: ‘There is no such thing as absolute privacy in America’

FBI Director James Comey warned Wednesday that Americans should not have expectations of “absolute privacy,” adding that he planned to finish his term leading the FBI.

“There is no such thing as absolute privacy in America; there is no place outside of judicial reach,” Comey said at a Boston College conference on cybersecurity. He made the remark as he discussed the rise of encryption since 2013 disclosures by former National Security Agency contractor Edward Snowden revealed sensitive US spy practices. “Even our communications with our spouses, with our clergy members, with our attorneys are not absolutely private in America,” Comey added. “In appropriate circumstances, a judge can compel any one of us to testify in court about those very private communications.”

But you see...throughout most of the SE USA on Monday... access to 911 emergency call centers was denied to 1/3 of Continental US population. Perhaps this was by decision of the intelligentsia as they lay in one more layer of control— to remind us.

In the run-up to Zero Day for their multi-agency contrivances to create the illusion of choice and.... security, a test of the “kill” switch on all cable and dsl hookups and VOIP also as a result.

We will never hear the real story of the 911 shut down in the most resistant geographical part of the US with a history of true revolt to restore rights. This is how it is perceived by the more accurate paranoids. Don’t watch the birdie while the deep state exercises it’s systems.

Knowing what we know from wikileaks about car hacking assassination capablities, why the Statist push to get rid of old cars. One more reason, aside from destroying the middle class, for obamaumao to push the Cash for Clunkers— which removed affordable vehicles from the regular working folk, and gave them a taxable “credit” to go into hock buying a new tech, hackable and trackable vehicle. Accomplishing destruction of the used car market at the same time. What a Volkswageny thing for the mack daddy who used to drive a bug (many euphemisms for that).

Like Lenin interested in Pavlov’s work— for application with people. Control.

And, on the second front the “new State” gooooogle uber driverless cars would cover those souls who didn’t get their own vehicle and the incessant push for “public” light rail (which no-one wants to ride, or does) and “high speed” rail (which no one wants to as well). Turn the whole country— this vast beautiful, and free for the moment, country into controlled, monitored and enslaved units.
Chips in pets, chips in people— open up the doors and SEE all the people. The STASI could have only dreamed of this.

“Wounds my heart with monotonous languor”. It’s time for memorizing memes and words for true speak.

Orwell was a genius. Without question. And remember— he started out as a policeman in Bengali in the brit colonial system of “all seeing eyes”.

So-— who has a recording of powder nose billy bob and cankles Lowretta Lyncher on .... her (or his?) plane that just happened to meet on the tarmac. Who knows THAT transcript, and will LEAK it to the press who will do nothing with it. Like they KNEW the transcript of General Flynn— who has that transcript.

Andrew McCarthy says release the transcript, release the FISA warrants... open the sewer gates, and clear the freaking water. Stop destroying good and great Americans for your special State.

I think you are attacking the messenger here. Comey played no part in this. This is a result of the FISA court setup. Which was created by Democrats as a result of Watergate.

Comey is a dolt!

I hardly think so. Things are not always as they seem.

If you have ever worked for government you know this, because there are many power structures within that can thwart even those with the best of intentions.

The real problem with government anymore are the unelected bureaucrats who have power well beyond what they should have, and a vast majority of them are controlled by Democrat operatives.

I’m happy to say I only worked for the government for two years as an inductee!

I’ve never worked there, but both my parents and my grandfather worked there many years.
