The key problem with the draft House health care bill is that it fails to correct the features of Obamacare that drove up health insurance costs. Instead, it mainly tweaks Obamacares financing and subsidy structure.
Basically, the bill focuses on protecting those who gained subsidized coverage through the laws exchange subsidies and Medicaid expansion, while failing to correct Obamacares misguided insurance regulations that drove up premiums for Americans buying coverage without government subsidies.
That is both a policy problem and a political problem.

Filibusters don’t work, they only delay. Delay means stalling POTUS agenda, which means no tax cuts and failing Healthcare.
They need 60 votes for full repeal. They won’t get them.
Reconciliation only requires 51 in the Senate. A full repeal and replace would require 60.
No they don't in fact Cruz offers them the way out today and it wouldn't require a rule change, just some cajonies. The VP can overrule the Senate Parliamentarian and determine that complete repeal under reconciliation would be within Senate Rules.
Do you doubt for a minute that Dingy Harry would do whatever is necessary to accomplish his goal? He managed to nullify an election by moving to reconcile the entire bill after Brown captured the seat held by Kennedy, only because his vote would kill ObamaCare, he didn't, not his fault but he lost the next election anyway.
This will be the last chance to undo our path to socialism/marxism/Islamicism, do whatever it takes. The fear that the democrats can use whatever power they create is just silly because I can assure you they will, whether we use it or not, because they have lost. Use the power correctly and they will never win again. ObamaCare 2 is not the right way and we will lose the Senate if they continue down this globalist pathway. They hate Trump and Mitch makes no bones about it.
It is more than just the uniparty on this DJTs own tweets show him to be fully supportive.

That reflects what Sean Spicer said. Trump is in 100% mode to sell the plan as is. That was a couple of days ago. Now I’m starting to see that he’s open to changes.
Trump will change his mind when given a good reason. After the election he abruptly changed his mind on eliminating the Electoral College.
“The proposed legislation would preserve the prohibition on denying coverage to people with pre-existing conditions or charging them more for such coverage, and it would preserve the prohibition on capping lifetime coverage. It would also continue allowing young adults up to the age of 26 to remain covered under their parents health plans.”
If all of this is true it can’t be much better than Obamacare because it still would forbid the sale of actual insurance. When you set such requirements it becomes something other than insurance. Try to imagine the same sort of thing being done to auto or home insurance, you would have to cover houses that have already burned down and cars that have already been stolen or burned or have been the cause of ten car pileups etc. That is NOT insurance!
Uh, I’m having a hard time figuring out what could have been fixed by fraud.
I heard that on Jay Sekulow and it confused me. If that is true, then they better start talking. I do not support it, if it is the bill.. and I am not clear on why it would be split into three parts.. Can you elaborate? This is really important if true. I was shocked when sekulow said it, but I trust them.. they have been pushing this bill.
Phase one is the current reconciliation Bill. This fixes FY2017. Requires 51 votes.
Phase two is changing regulations through HHS. No votes required.
Phase three would be further changes for FY2018 budget year. 51 votes required.
