I love YES-oops, they were all white and incorporated classical music influences into their music, to boot-I must really be racist. Wait, their quondam drummer Bill Bruford was jazz-influenced, so maybe they were only partly racist-but wait, if he used jazz influences, which were originated by blacks, then he stole their music, so they’re racist after all-it’s hard to keep track of all the nuances, and dog whistles-depends on what day of the week it is-no, days of the week are racist, their names come from white western culture. Damn, a person could go nuts trying to be “woke”.
The “Classic Rock” decade was the BEST for Progressives!
Yes, Genesis, ELP, Kansas, Queen (ok, not really prog, but still...) Gentle Giant, Renaissance, Kate Bush, Dixie Dregs, Allman Brothers (progressive in their own way,) and Rush, and the list goes on!
