Hundreds of US Marines swapped naked pictures of female recruits and veterans — many of whom had no idea that they had been photographed — on a secret Facebook page, a report says.
More than two dozen women — including active-duty and enlisted service members — were spotlighted on the social media site and identified by their full name, rank and military duty station, CIR reported on its website Reveal.

this behavior seems counter to building team morale. violations of personal privacy seem prone to inviting emnity among the troops. what would happen if someone were to take offense to the degree that delayed revenge was taken by the person(s) who had taken the picture(s)? what if that delayed revenge took the form of not taking any action to rescue the person on the field of battle?

There were women in the Marines when Chesty was around and he would be ashamed.
I am ashamed of the Freepers here that aren’t condemning this. Women have been marines longer than most here have been alive. Don’t give me this ‘boys will be boys’ BS. Everyone involved should be prosecuted, imprisoned, and given a DD.

When I was in the Navy, women Marines held clerical or supply jobs. There were called “BAMs”. Big assed Marines.
