Accusing your opponent of what you’re doing is the number 1 rule in the Donk playbook.

Alinsky’s “The Rules for Radicals”:

1. “Power is not only what you have, but what the enemy thinks you have.” Power is derived from 2 main sources – money and people. “Have-Nots” must build power from flesh and blood.

2. “Never go outside the expertise of your people.” It results in confusion, fear and retreat. Feeling secure adds to the backbone of anyone.

3. “Whenever possible, go outside the expertise of the enemy.” Look for ways to increase insecurity, anxiety and uncertainty.

4. “Make the enemy live up to its own book of rules.” If the rule is that every letter gets a reply, send 30,000 letters. You can kill them with this because no one can possibly obey all of their own rules.

5. “Ridicule is man’s most potent weapon.” There is no defense. It’s irrational. It’s infuriating. It also works as a key pressure point to force the enemy into concessions.

6. “A good tactic is one your people enjoy.” They’ll keep doing it without urging and come back to do more. They’re doing their thing, and will even suggest better ones.

7. “A tactic that drags on too long becomes a drag.” Don’t become old news.

8. “Keep the pressure on. Never let up.” Keep trying new things to keep the opposition off balance. As the opposition masters one approach, hit them from the flank with something new.

9. “The threat is usually more terrifying than the thing itself.” Imagination and ego can dream up many more consequences than any activist.

10. “The major premise for tactics is the development of operations that will maintain a constant pressure upon the opposition.” It is this unceasing pressure that results in the reactions from the opposition that are essential for the success of the campaign.

11. “If you push a negative hard enough, it will push through and become a positive.” Violence from the other side can win the public to your side because the public sympathizes with the underdog.

12. “The price of a successful attack is a constructive alternative.” Never let the enemy score points because you’re caught without a solution to the problem.

13. “Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it.” Cut off the support network and isolate the target from sympathy. Go after people and not institutions; people hurt faster

Especially during Slick Willie’s administration we regularly saw him accuse Republicans of doing nasty things that he himself was doing.

I have been suspicious of the Russia-Trump Connection from the get-go as the Russians and the Leftist Democrats are usually found sleeping together.

I am now listening to Fox News. Some woman is lambasting Trump for accusing Obama of wire tapping him — without offering ANY evidence!!!! Note, she did not demand ANY evidence of Trump’s supposed collusion with Russia. None of them do.

Clapper has said there is no evidence Trump colluded with Russians. No evidence. Does not stop the accusations from the MSM (Geraldo, for example) or the democrats.

As far as I can tell, no one in the MSM ever offers up this simple observation. Or conservative commentators.

Pretty much.

As I’ve long said about the ChiComs: the reason that they howl so loudly about others supposedly seeking a hegemony is that they want THE hegemony ... over the whole world if they can manage it.

In fact one can say that this is a trait of communist thought itself.

Which of course help to explain the basically communistic, if Menshevik, left in this country.

Same with Islam: Muslims remember every time anyone has defended themselves from Islam but they think their naked aggression through the centuries is justified and good.

This is so very obvious. Whether they do it consciously or unconsciously is the only matter of dispute.

Love the combative tone of this piece. Always thought Kurt was a battler, but I think this one is infused by an appropriate sense of indignity and a whole lot of irony.

And, of course, there is the Trump the Authoritarian/Trump the New Hitler meme. Except Trump’s apparently not very good at authoritarianism, since no one seems to be being oppressed. Has a lot of policy ideas, which he openly explained to the American people in his speech, and which he will submit to Congress to be debated and voted upon before being enacted. That seems to correspond pretty closely to how I learned a bill becomes a law on Schoolhouse Rock.

I've been saying the same thing for years now and it's nice to see someone with an audience saying it, too.

Accusing others of doing what they themselves are doing has been very effective for the demonrats.

It's actually kinda obvious most of the time, like with the Russian "Squirrel!" distraction currently in use, but when I point it out to my progressive friends and family, they don't/can't/won't see it.

Perhaps one day they will though and what fun that will be!

Here’s the utterly predictable pattern. Spazzy Dems freak out about some imagined atrocity by a conservative then, within a few hours, it becomes clear that the alleged offender did nothing wrong while conservatives scour the web and start showing how Democrat hacks are on record doing exactly the same thing times a zillion.

I am at the point now where I am absolutely convinced the mental disorder of "liberalism" has as a prominent symptom the inability to think beyond the next few minutes or perhaps a day or so.

Here is another example from a post a few days ago.

in April 2015 that the Clintons received millions of dollars from the Chairman of the firm Uranium One which were not disclosed publicly and in return the firm received uranium deposits in the US. At the same time the Russians were buying the majority stake in Uranium One. Ultimately the Clintons made millions and the Russians took over a large portion of the world’s global uranium supply chain.

Why would any normal person make baseless accusations against people that have done absolutely nothing that are identical to fully documented actions they themselves HAVE done?

Actions that they took that actually are criminal?

It's like some sort of involuntary confession in the form of accusations syndrome.

ICAS ?
