To draw attention to female authors, a Cleveland bookstore celebrated Womens History Month by turning every male-written book in the fiction room backward on its shelf.
Eight of the all-female employees of Loganberry Books went through about 10,000 books, a process that took about two hours. Theyll leave the books turned around for the next two weeks

I’m guessing the owners weren’t aware of this.
LOL!!!
Speaking of punishment, haven’t female authors done enough damage? The tortures of Austen, Bronte, and Eliot are visited upon young men to this day in countless English Lit classes.
Make it more difficult for customers to find your products? Seems like a really stupid retail practice.
Misandrous behavior, sexual discrimination, or radical feminism?...wonder if they have Ashley Judd’s latest book on how Trump is worse than rape.....
“Women & Women First!’
Ping!
Exactly what I was thinking. It's their business, and they'll either make money or lose it.
A female own “feminist-leaning bookstore” with a sign stating they have “silenced male authors” and no male employees. Throwing caution to the wind and saying they’re all lesbians. That’s one way to lose customers. Hope the owner doesn’t make payroll this month.
We need to stop givinig these people any kind of press.
Why?
Oh I read the article but that is just stupid
Didn't ABC-BS just subject the American public to a week (weak?) of this with their "When We Rise" mockumentary? Didn't watch it, so I have no idea how heroic they were shown to be.
You don’t Elevate yourself by putting others down.
Johnathan Kellerman has a gay cop character in his books. A belching slob gay cop. Rarely mentions his proclivities. Most of his are pretty good.
His wife also writes. Read one of her books. Of course the main character was a lesbian.
Read one of the very popular Patricia Cornwell’s books. The main character has a macho lesbian sister.
Argh!
I’ll stick with Michael Connelly’s Harry Bosch and Lee Child’s Jack Reacher.
Yes, she was.
Can you imagine the boiling hatred that would make a person do that? Such a childish display of angst still makes me smile.
At this point, I just go with e-readers for the most part, and buy a hard copy if I like the book enough. Amazon is...contentious, but they make liberal heads explode on a regular basis, and that’s fine with me. There’s a lot of good self-published people out there if you look, and they’re far less likely to be shoving their politics down my throat.
Used to like Cornwell until the niece character came out. Never read another of her books. Same with the Harry Potter stuff. Idiots sure do enjoy running off customers.
