Too bad the Washington Post doesn’t worry as much about We The People, ya think? Traitors one and all, IMO.

Mexico just needs to adopt a $10 per hour minimum wage (rather than their current $10 per day). Then all those illegal aliens will be able to go home and earn a living wage.

That’s how it works, right?

Flooding a labor market does reduce wages.
That’s why the GOP would not do anything about the illegal alien inundation.

Let me understand this. Their presence in the U.S. does not depress wages but their return to Mexico will. Did I get that right? How does that work?

Their arrival will have the same effect as their departure??? How, pray tell, can that be possible? Only in the fevered imaginations of leftists.

Why doesn’t the compost worry about Americans having jobs?

(Rhetorical question)

Well, they can move the entire newsprint operation across our southern border and rename it the Mexico City Post.

Otherwise, they should focus their concerns on disseminating the truth, criticizing both sides of the aisle, and doing away with trying to lay their white guilt on those of us whites who aren’t guilty of those things which the lefties find uncomfortable to them.

Mexico’s economic problems will come home to roost. It is time they make their economy available to everyone—not just the elite, light-skinned class whose ancestors come from the Spanish conquerors.

Tough turkey.

Whiners, both the sobbing leftists and the "free market" loudmouths, have completely destroyed normal feedback the labor market in the US provides people who want to improve their lives by finding a better job.

At the low end, the combined effects of a surplus of labor and welfare without limits makes it unlikely someone would work a low wage job if they can avoid it and in addition makes it less likely they can find such a job because there are too many illegals in the labor pool who can only do the lowest paid jobs and often are willing to work off the books for half the minimum wage. Hire someone legally and there's workman's comp, SS, and the minimum wage. Hire an illegal and do whatever you like with your slave labor.

Just as bad, or worse, is the H1B program that distorts the actual demand for skilled labor and makes it seem less appealing to study to get a better job in several fields when every day you read about people in those fields being replaced by foreign workers. We need an America First market rather than our absorbing the surplus students from India and Asia.

Free traitors are really saying they want to distort the very system they say will make things right. It's a short term greed play, that's all, not any real desire for Free and Fair Trade.

the solution is here, via Conservative Treehouse:

Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross Hints At Brilliant NAFTA Negotiation Strategy – “Make Mexico Great Again”… . Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross hints at a strategy for NAFTA renegotiation with Mexico that completely annihilates any leftist opposition, and simultaneously drops the greatest humanitarian narrative right in the lap of the globalists. Make Mexico raise their minimum wage.

e owe Mexicans a living? If they had stayed where they belong perhaps wages would be lower already.

The Compost worries about wages in Mexico, but not in the US.

I bet they sell a lot of newspapers in Mexico

Well! “Boohoo...shit in my shoe!” Who gives a damn about Mexico? They are a 3rd world country anyway and the only reason they have the economy they have is because we have been shipping our manufacturing over there while they have been shipping their “peasants” over here.

Yes, more workers competing for jobs in mexico will lower the wages in mexico, AND, fewer workers in the US will increase wages in the US. That’s the way it works.
