Over the past week the hysteria on the right and among some weak-kneed Trumpers has been over the top. Even Rush Limbaugh began to wiggle uncomfortably, fearing Trump did know what he was up against, and hadn't moved fast enough to deal with the "silent coup" against him.
Jeff Sessions' recusal supposedly showed that Trump, like all the rest of the Republicans, didn't know how to play hardball.
Ooops.
I can always tell when something big is about to happen at Team Trump when my contact messages aren't returned. And I'm always pleasantly surprised that Team Trump is one to a dozen steps ahead of anything I'm thinking.
Case in point: yesterday I drafted a memo urging Trump to go on offense against the Democrats, specifically the Congressional rats. And as usual, I'm thinking of building a bowling alley while Trump is envisioning a gleaming skyscraper.
Today Trump's offensive began. But only after cleverly baiting the hook, luring the enemy Cannae-style into an envelope from which there is no escape.
He didn't fight back against the guys in the ring. He went after their manager, their coach, and their funder-in-chief. Trump went after the head of the snake.
By Tweeting that Trump Tower and his personal residence were bugged---and apparently the evidence of such a wiretap approval exists---Trump again shows why he plays 3D chess and his enemies are playing Parcheesi. The Bible says it this way: "They will come at you one way and go away fleeing seven."
Other than the fact that this is OBAMA he is going after, the juciest part is that Sessions did NOT recuse himself from a wiretap investigation of Obama. Get it?
Trump just leapfrogged the whole Russia thing with an "It ends today." Now Team Trump has leverage to force a full and total standdown of all opposition to Trump inside Congress, all end to the disruptions, and meek and timid confirmation of all appointees. Or Zero goes to jail. That simple.
Many here will want blood. But I'm reminded of Sam Houston after he defeated Santa Anna at San Jacinto. Instead of hanging the dictator, he merely took all of the American Southwest. Santa Anna was out soon anyway, but we still have Phoenix, Denver, and (unfortunately) California. It will be a negotiation from strength, and the Dems will have no choice but to comply. They won't completely give up---there will be surreptitious acts with enough deniability---but this was a perfectly baited hook that all of Trump's enemies just walked into.
You’re right .. I am looking for a lot of spilled blood.
First of all, whoever processed that wiretapping NEEDS TO BE FIRED IMMEDIATELY; WITH PREJUDICE.
Second, something needs to be done to Obama; something to stop him from having access to any government office - since he has now proven he has abused his power.
I don’t suppose either will happen .. but it seems to me we’re giving in too easily - as usual.
The mistake was Sessions jumping the gun before talking to Trump.
The mistake was Sessions jumping the gun before talking to Trump.
Sure they do.
Samuel R. "Sandy" Berger, a former White House national security adviser, plans to plead guilty to a misdemeanor, and will acknowledge intentionally removing and destroying copies of a classified document about the Clinton administration's record on terrorism.
was there a youtube of Trey saying this?
I think he actually bit the propeller.
You don't remember all the PaulTard stoners infers past?
I imagine it's hard to be a screaming communist disruptor, while you're getting prison raped.
Also clandestine listening devices.
What you did there, I see
LS, I look forward to you being proved 100% correct on your post. I look forward to that with great expectation and high confidence.
I don’t agree for one reason .. Obama could run his racket from jail .. and he has enough surrogates on the outside to pull off anything Obama wants.
Further it give Trump added motivation to finally expose Obama for having posted a forged birth certificate on a government website...
Yes, his surrogates are out there. Also George Soros. And all the leftists in Academia & the media, & they won’t stop. But I think the average American looks at all this as ‘just politics’ & is annoyed by it, but doesn’t pay much heed. When people are prosecuted & sent to jail, it says ‘This really was a bad thing.’ And a few more might wake up.
It just comes down to enforcing laws. We should be charging jihadis with insurrection, & illegals with social security numbers with ID fraud. If it’s an important issue you have to treat it as such.
Exactly, even now McCain is attacking Trump more than he ever did Obama from 2007 to now.
Heh, heh.
Bump.
Yeah, doesn’t seem right that he could breathe free air for years.....after what he did!
But we got Texas!
No, but it casts doubt on it.
“The mistake was Sessions jumping the gun before talking to Trump.”
Look..I’m not saying I have all the answers, but what you’re’ saying is that Sessions just moved on something that he thought was already decided, and that’s clearly not the case...
he took it upon himself to make a huge decision without clearing it with his boss and made his boss look foolish and not in control.
Like I said, I don’t know the complete story but I do know that rule number one in politics is never make the boss look bad!
