There I was getting all down in the dumps over seeing a Heisman Trophy contender QB blowing it all by getting slobbering drunk in a neighboring state and getting arrested by the cops after trying to steal some other dude's sandwich at 2:00 am and running away with it and starting a big fight between two groups of young men, getting said sandwich all over the front of his shirt and breaking the other guy's glasses and then saying some really really bad drunken stuff to the cops who came to arrest him.

...all after having allowed the President of the University to go to bat for him at the Conference rules committee to get him another year of eligibility.
