I think a lot of good people here on FreeRepublic either left on their own or were banned in the mid-2000s because they refused to drink the George W. Bush Kool-Aid.
And now even most of those who are left recognize that the guy was just an @sshole anyway.

You're right about that. I got publicly spanked by JR himself. I was a regular contributor before that.
