62-37. That suggests there is a discontent among Democrats between the deep blue state wing that wants to block Trump at all costs, and those in red or marginal states that realize they can’t just be roadblocks if they want to be re-elected and move forward.

I still hope Dr. Ben finds a few good spokesmen to visit the Sunday Morning ‘inquisition’ shows on TV. I hope he outsources that task more that appearing himself. The Dr. doesn’t always come off very well on live TV, and can easily be distracted off topic.
If this position works for him, I would not be surprised to see him switch to something more directly related to Health or at least Health Care two years from now. I think the Doctor was somewhat overwhelmed with the depth and reach of the Surgeon General duties at this time.
He may have been more used to focusing on a small group of patients at a time.
