War on Comments: Google Built an A.I To Censor The Web, And The Media Is Celebrating

“News organizations want to encourage engagement and discussion around their content, but find that sorting through millions of comments to find those that are trolling or abusive takes a lot of money, labour and time,” says Jared Cohen, president of Jigsaw, the Google social incubator that built the tool. “As a result, many sites have shut down comments altogether. But they tell us that isn’t the solution they want.”

Hopefully, Mr. Cohen can have this up and running in time for Bob Iger of Disney/ABC to run for President in 2020. I'll have to come up with a new phrase for "Synagogue of Satan." Church of Olde Scratch?

I think Google is re-writing history with a liberal slant. Everyone is familiar with the stories about the Google auto complete function.

I have noticed the results are also highly biased.
For example, most people know that Gulliani lowed the crime rates dramatically in NYC.

However Google: Giuliani crime rate and all you can find are liberal come backs disputing the drop.

In the last new years it was reported that Jeh Johnson and John Bremmer were either Muslim, or highly biased towards that faith. This material is gone.

“Chelsea Manning pardon debate” is another.

Try “Trump jobs” as well.

“Trump First Act”

“google autocomplete bias” has a Breitbart article first but the second finding is “The Guardian” saying Google results slant right.

Anyone else notice this?

The leftist tech, media and political nazi cabal absolutely want to control everything that is said by anybody about everybody and everything. If allowed, they will be the agents of absolute tyranny.

The Daily Mail site actually has people who sit and cherry-pick pc comments. You could have a story about John Wayne Gacy killing kids and stuffing their bodies in the crawl space of his house, and they’d have a comment that said- “well, he liked kids and he was a homeowner. “

Posters will very quickly figure out how to defeat Google’s “AI.”

I am critical of Islam and socialism. What are the odds that any comment of mine on either subject, as reasoned and non profane as they might be, would ever appear on any forum. We are on the very edge of a progressive dictatorship. Some elements are as fanatic as Mao’s Cultural Revolution.

You know, now that I think of it, this could all be a bunch of nonsense.

This being Google, it's perfectly within reason to believe that there is no "AI" and that they're just going to crowd-share the censorship function among lots of low-paid (or unpaid) left-wing thumb-suckers, and call it "AI," to deflect accusations that they're just censoring voices they don't like.

By calling it AI, they coat their censorship with a "scientific" patina, making it sound like it will be objective and impartial.

Cohen looks like a snot punk doesn’t he? The slob can’t even tie his tie. Why does he even bother to wear one?

Personal attacks on the snot nosed punk aside, Google and their collusive Cabal can play all the AI games they want, because all it will accomplish is to shove the group discussion into arenas where the discussion marches on unimpeded.

Look at this Google/YouTube killer emerging on the horizon:

https://www.bitchute.com

Bet you dollars to donuts that Google and their Wall St. butt boys will consider buying out this upstart for a billion plus, and then have their slimy lawyers try and patent every little facet to tie up newbies following in the space with relentless court drama.

The fatal blow to the left and their Google, Facebook, PayPal drones is to audit the NY Fed followed by taxes from hell on the Wall St. slime that carries free Fed money to prop up the progressive brands.

Like Matt Drudge says, people need to find their own playgrounds and stop being lured into the progressive playgrounds.

We need conservative movers and shakers with balls of steel to build newer more attractive outlets for the political discourse to survive and thrive without ever selling out. Pipe dream? No! Let ownership reside in public trusts and there will be no sellout.

Reader comments quickly point out the falsehoods and fallacies in an article. Propagandists really hate that. I rarely bother reading an article if the comment section has been disabled.

President Trump needs to look into defunding the taxpayer-funded portion of public radio and television, they are left biased, and conservatives should not be forced to fund their own opponents. Let it compete in the public square, just as right-leaning radio has had to do. They know that it wouldn't succeed, based on precedent (Air America, etc). Either defund theyaxpayer-funded portion, or force it to give equal time, and that doesn't mean by having a few quasi-conservatives on, or only having conservatives on in an adversarial position against the left-biased hosts.

LOL. More like they shut them down because they where far more conservative than they wanted.

Google is the 21st century equivalent of big brother shaping history and current events with the leftist brush.

At some level, a type of AI Google is aiming for is a kind of crowd-sharing. Cloud Robotics, Self-driving cars are all based on the vast network of individual robots or cars going about their way, transmitting data about what they encountered or how they responded to it. Google's servers store all of them. When a robot or a car has to respond to certain events, requests are sent to Google network to retrieve relevant data and formulate a response if it cannot come up with immediate response. The part of formulating a response is not as sophisticated as we think. The whole system depends more on having a vast store of data, which could cover a great majority of events each individual machine encounters. This is how Google Translate works. The system remembers mind-boggling amount of words, phrases, and sentences. That is why it sometimes perform better with long sentences than short ones.

I suspect censorship works the same way, which is more or less what you described.

I recently read a book by a guy named Corey Pegues. He was one of the top cops in New York at one point. He claimed over and over that Giuliani didn't reduce the crime rate, but that it was a left over from David Dinkins' policies, or some such nonsense.

I enjoyed the stories the man recounted in the book, but took a LOT of it with a generous helping of salt after I read that.

There are some sites that “collapse” questionable comments, so you can choose to open them or not. I’m often curious about the ones removed by the mods on FR.

Up until about a month and a half ago that was a valid opinion.
