If there is any such thing, it would likely be a copper ore (chalcopyrite) or a copper alloy such as one of several found in sunken ships.

I remember the same comic book. They’ve made many of these old Scrooge, Huey, Dewey and Louie comics into a cartoon series called Duck Tales, and it’s actually quite good and faithful to the comic stories.
