As the 2014 standoff in Bunkerville escalated and authorities started to fear a gunfight, Bureau of Land Management Ranger Patrick Apley turned off his body camera.

"I was mad," Apley testified Tuesday in the trial against six men accused of conspiring with rancher Cliven Bundy to block federal authorities from seizing cattle. "I felt like we were going to be in a firefight and I really didn't want to record that.".....

Defense attorney Jeff Marchese, who represents defendant Eric Parker, hammered the ranger for that decision.

"What's the purpose of having a body camera?" Marchese asked.

"The purpose of a body camera is to record the incident, however, I was under a lot of stress at that point and I just didn't want to continue with all that," Appley said.....

There is a reference in that video where when one of the BLM agents is saying, "there's a cameraman up there and he won't put it down. He's pretty insistent on that."

Sort of lines up with the mindset of turning the body cam off. They wanted to open up, no question about it.

Don’t forget Bundy’s attorney who was charged criminally after being attacked by several Marshals in open court for no reason at at. Charge was that while being attacked he flailed around and that constitutes resisting.

That's another tactic they use. They narrate what is happening when something completely different is happening. That takes training. Here is a little segment of that video to illustrate.

Shows gross insubordination from a law enforcement professional and a willingness for the truth of the matter not to be documented.

Dan Love’s crew needs to be examined with extreme prejudice.

When an agent of the government intentionally turns off recording devices to avoid collecting evidence, jurors should draw an inference from that action

Yeah. Like the agent just committed an indictable act of Obstruction of Justice.

Had those idiots at Waco had any training at all they could have utterly decimated the ATF in the initial assault. If the Waco bunch were truly hostile the ATF wouldn’t have been walking away with their wounded and looking over their shoulders they would have been running for their lives.

If I am on the jury and I hear this testimony I am believing NOTHING the government said or says at this point. Total coverup of JBT behavior and if the BLM has walking around sense this idiot should be terminated and prosecuted for his coverup. Covering an incident is why you have the damned camera in the first place.

If anyone thinks the feds won’t fire on civilians they are living in a fantasy land these BLM goons were perfectly willing to fire into protestors.

I hope they realize they wouldn’t have made it out of the county that more than likely they would have been like Custer at his last stand. Once their snipers are out of the fight with all those hills their time on earth is limited.

Oh, this is looking better and better. “We didn’t want you to see what we did but trust us, it was legal.” Uh huh.

Thanks for keeping up with this. It’s important to publicize how these ranchers are being railroaded.
