There’s one more thing we didn’t ask for, that is simply a freebie do to electing Trump.

We will not get everything we wanted, how we wanted it, but folks we’re going to get so much from Trump, it would be almost insulting to the adult mind to complain.

I think he is going to give us as much as he possibly can, and his appointments will also.

We live in amazing times, ones I never thought I’d see again.

Trump is like the reverse GWB. I voted for GWB with low expectations and he was massively worse than my worst expectations. I voted for Trump preying that he wasn’t lying about the wall and I’m getting almost everything else I could have ever wished for.

Jeff Sessions made the right call about Trump.

great. the first step in dismantling obama’s dream of a national police force. all federal interference outside of criminal wrongdoing by local leos needs to be stopped.

Yes, I think Jeff may have been very instrumental in helping Trump develop his agenda.

Early talk was that he had Trump’s ear.

Not trying to give credit where it isn’t due. If this isn’t on target, it isn’t intentional.

I think folks sold Trump short based on his “seeming” relationships and donations.

He may have been much more Conservative than we thought, only playing it close to the vest.

We have to remember his business exposure, and how negatively people have reacted to his current beliefs.

Imagine if he had aired them a decade ago. It could have demolished his business.

There are numerous cities whose police departments are under “consent decrees.” The left approves of this. But, suppose instead of lifting these decrees, the DOJ now starts insisting that the police departments of these cities comply 100% with the government to detain illegal aliens who are arrested, or even stopped for minor traffic violations. What would be the reaction of the left then, as if I didn’t know.

Why is it “gonna happen?” Why can’t they just make it happen on day 1?

Local policing is a local responsibility, and if there is any LEGAL question about how they are carrying it out, there is a raft of avenues under the state government that can be used to investigate it and seek remedies IF NEEDED. The federal government grandstanding it as if no one else can “solve” local policing issues is politics pure and simple, nothing else.

His interview in The Advocate shows that he’s not the staunch morals conservative (that and his multiple divorces) that some wished, and some refused to support him because he wasn’t. He’s a true conservative. He doesn’t care who a person marries or sleeps with or doesn’t, but instead what they’re capable of doing.

Simple. He doesn’t want to regulate our bedrooms any more than our pockets.

I know plenty of Conservatives who aren’t pristine.

This one is on our side, and I’m backing him all the way.

We will never get a better chance to save this nation.

He has uncommon sense.

He has the ability to short circuit the press and his enemies.

I agree. I believe that the “social” conservative movement is truly not as conservative as they want to have us believe. Conservatism is about freedom, and using religion to dictate behavior is not freedom. I believe Trump is more about “pure” conservatism.

There is a problem with our style of government in the Middle East.

Their religion does not mesh with it. I think Islam precludes them having what we have.

I think atheism has the same problem.

In our Declaration, we attribute inalienable rights from God.

If we don’t phrase it that way, then they are man given rights.

What man gives, he can rake away.

Man has no right to take away what God has given.

The moral code we have was religious based.

Do away with religion and that moral code has no basis. Again, what man devised is removable.

Take a look at the decay of society. It revolves around our people distancing themselves from God. They don’t go to church and have no moral code.

I don’t want to see government dictate religious things, but I think we’re kidding ourselves if we think we can do this without God.
