An inability to find common ground could test the president’s agenda
It was possible, not so long ago, to imagine Donald Trump to be such an unconventional figure that he could bust apart traditional partisan alliances and use his populist approach to create new kinds of political coalitions.
As President Trump gets set to appear before a joint session of Congress for the first time Tuesday night, that possibility seems a long way off.
Instead, just over a month into his term, Mr. Trump stands as an exceptionally polarizing figure. He inspires intense support among his admirers and equally intense animosity among his detractors, with remarkably few Americans standing in the middle without a strong view. Everybody appears to have an opinion about Donald Trump, and those opinions already appear locked in.

These articles never — never — get at the real issue. George W Bush was an “extremely polarizing figure.” George Bush Sr., for crying out loud, was an “extremely polarizing figure” — remember how the Left bitterly attacked him for a “dirty” campaign against Dukakis. And, of course, Reagan was an “extremely polarizing figure.” Every freaking Republican President of the past 60 years, other than perhaps Ford, was an “extremely polarizing figure.”
Why? Because the Dems refuse to play ball. When a Republican is in office, they attack and attack and attack and attack and attack and attack. They and their stooges in the media MAKE the Republican president a polarizing figure. Its their goal. And repeat the lie often enough . . . .

Donald Trump is not polarizing. He is extremely popular among real American citizens who don’t live in the bicoastal rats’ nests.
The ‘polarizing’ is coming from the insane and irrational, sometimes comical, bleats these a$$holes put out.
He hasn’t lost any support from those who understand he’s doing exactly what he promised he’d do if elected.

I think that if he can get an income tax cut in place, and people see their paychecks grow a bit due to a reduction in withholding, it will go a long ways in softening some people’s attitudes. If they see another $50 or $100 or more, available for household spending each month, possibly they will see that he really IS on the side of Americans.
D-Day was a polarizing event.
Trump says he wants to do what’s best for ALL Americans, and that is what he’s doing.
Obama never even pretended to have conservative’s best interests at heart. He placed the interests of foreigners and illegals first, and everything else was for the radical Left.

I predict DJT will put the ball to the wall with the Bully Pulpit tonight. I think his approval is really around 55%, and I think he’s gonna ask for some heads of Uniparty RINOs tonight, and explain to the people why they have to go.
By focusing on the GOPe traitors, HRC voters liking what they see so far with Trump will see he really IS draining the swamp, and he’ll hit 60% approval by this weekend.

This isn’t news. We’ve seen it brewing for a year. We were allegedly a nation with these deep ideological divides between D and R, yet a populist President made them forget 40 years of animosity to start fighting him, AND US, because they consider us to be their enemy.
The politician class has to go. It is the natural enemy of a Republic founded on a representative form of government. They prove that they do not represent us.

People that voted for obama because he is black would accuse you of being racist because you didn’t vote for him. They were projecting.
I see a LOT of projection on the liberal sites I frequent, and call it out often.
