I agree. I live near the gulf coast and I have things organized in the event of a hurricane evacuation order or a wild fire. My family and animals come first. All my important papers are in an envelope in a safe. That includes vehicle titles, insurance information, home inventories, passports, and other important records. I have external backup drives for my computers that I can just unplug and take with me. I’ve scanned all my family photos and they’re saved on two or more different backups.

When Hurricane Opal came through we had 12 hours notification before the evacuation, so I packed my file cabinets, photo albums, etc. in my RV. One of the main reasons I own an RV is to allow me to take all my animals with me.
