New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie says Republican lawmakers should hold town halls even if that means confronting hundreds of angry progressive constituents.
Welcome to the real world of responsibility, Christie told CNNs Jake Tapper on State of the Union Sunday.
The governors comments come after a week in which massive crowds turned up at GOP town halls to protest President Donald Trump and Republicans efforts to repeal the Affordable Care Act.

Christie is so fat..when it rains he uses the Garden State Pkwy as a slip n slide. Seriously, any credibility Christie had was shot to hell when he did that pathetic photo op with 0bama at Pt Pleasant beach during the aftermath of Sandy
Surprised they didn't recreate the final scene of Beach Blanket Bingo where Annette Funicello and Frani Avalon make passionate love on the beach. All they needed was the mermaid flooping around in the ocean (YECCCCHHHH!)

The answer to this is simple. Show a driver's license proving residence before admission to the town hall. That one step alone would exclude nearly all of these paid protestors. Nah. Simpler still: Georgia has an online, public record way to check voter registration and district. Park a few computers at the door, check registration and district. You qualify? You go in. Otherwise, bite it.

Couldn't have been easy for a guy that big to walk on sand - he must have been sweating and huffing badly. Obama must have been wondering if Christie was going to collapse on him.

And then there’s the cute trick being practiced by others in the media, like Philly’s local CBS outlet channel 3, which tonight talked about “unlike many Republican politicians who are not holding town halls, some local politicians are” and then went on to a nice package featuring a local Democrat congressman in front of a large church full of very well behaved, attentive constituents having his say - they are organized, they are relentless, they are shameless.....

It is either some, all or none.

His job as head of the transition came to an abrupt end following his clumsy interview on the Today show where he was fawning all over Matt Lauer.
Trump watches tv....he didn’t like it then and he no doubt won’t like the Dough Boys appearance on CNN....

I would have ICE and Pinkertons armed with cattleprods, no cameras or cell phones allowed.
Would order a special supersize prod to taze Christie.

He’s still on the outside looking in. There’s a reason why he’s not part of President Trump’s team.

Limit the meeting only to constituents, and promptly remove anyone acting out. What's pathetic about these town halls is that they are merely providing fodder for the Left and their version of the media, and disenfranchising those who are there with legitimate concerns. Now that the Left has proved they won't hesitate to use violence against conservative supporters, the rules are obviously not what they were.
