Perez Says Democratic Party’s Message Will Be Carried Out Through Lawsuits Against Trump

The newly elected chair of the Democratic National Committee, Tom Perez, said Sunday on NBC's "Meet the Press" that the Democratic Party's message will be carried out in part through lawsuits against President Trump.

Perez, the former secretary of labor under President Obama, made the comment after host Chuck Todd asked if he is content with the Democratic Party being known as the party of "no."

"Are you comfortable with the Democrats being known as the party of ‘no?'" Todd asked.

Perez side-stepped the question, arguing the Democratic Party is the "party of opportunity and inclusion."

"We are going to communicate our message, whether it is through lawsuits like the state attorneys general did to stop the Muslim ban," Perez said. "Whether it is through actions like at the polls yesterday in Delaware and hopefully in April in congressional district six right here in Georgia."

Perez went on to list what the party message will be, citing wage increases, greater health care access, and more opportunity for the middle class.

Perez was elected DNC chair in Atlanta on Saturday. He named Rep. Keith Ellison (D., Minn.) to serve as his deputy chair, in part to assuage progressive Democrats who wanted Ellison to be elected chairman and are unhappy with the outcome.

It would be suggested they’d best be instructed as to whom the REAL President might be. With Nan from Fran running around saying she’d not found any common ground with President Bush, they are off to an unpromising attempt. Lawsuits are an ‘iffy’ proposition. Especially as they’ve been found to be more political rather than judicial by the majority of US citizens. They are on a teetering ledge at the moment.

In all my years, I have never seen such open warfare in our government as we are seeing since Trump came on the scene. I’ve voted since Nixon and there has never been such out and out underhanded evil going on in any party... the dems have always been bad, but never like this... and never as openly as they are now. PLus the media ought to be taken to the woodshed and whipped into oblivion! I don’t see it ever stopping as long as the dems are not in complete power, and Trump aims to win this, if anyone can. But the left will keep trying to get back in and they probably will after 4 or 8 years if the republicans stay wimpy and don’t learn how to fight a war..

The only way Trump can win this, is to be as slick and using every trick and type in the book, against them. He pretty much stands alone except for his voters. How long can he stand alone with the tide held back... for if they think they have a way... without committing suicide.. they would all turn on him and impeach him in a day. I hope we would go to war against the left, before we’d let them impeach him. After having to tolerate obama, impeaching Trump would send me over the edge.

The republicans may be forced to help him, but they will be doing it because they have to...and given a reason .. a loop hole... they’d jump on him also.

I am back to turning off Fox... some of it isn’t too bad, but the talk about russia is getting on my nerves, big time. It’s so ridiculous for grown men on Fox, to still be talking about it... UNLESS they also want to remove Trump. Otherwise, stop the foolishness and gossip over that subject... it’s been run through the mill way too long and has no legs... and has no purpose. Never did and has even less now. So get off it already!!

I don’t like gossip of any kind... this they are playing over and over.... needs to be snuffed out with charges against them all... media.. left.. soros... dems.. and anyone who puts their own selfish power grab ahead of our country. For this country can’t stay as we know/knew it, doing to it what the media and the left have been doing.

“Can you work with the President?”
“Well, we plan to sue the bejeezus out of him.”

Chuck Todd: “I’ll take that as an unqualified NO!

......Interestingly enough, CASA de Maryland, a Soros-funded group dedicated to helping illegal immigrants flout U.S. immigration law that Perez headed up, took a $1.5 million donation in 2008 from the Venezuelan dictator. Perez seems to have taken Chavez’s philosophy along with it, which isn’t that surprising: His dad was a well-known henchman for Rafael Trujillo, the bemedaled, mirrored-sunglassed Idi-Amin-style thug dictator of the Dominican Republic who used to throw his opponents literally into the shark pools over his 30-plus years rule. Trujillo was the grotesque dictator featured in Nobel Laureate Mario Vargas Llosa’s Feast of the Goat. One cannot control who one’s relatives are, of course, but Perez is notable for lying about it, not just in denying the relationship but in saying it was the opposite of what it was.

That baggage may have been why Perez did not secure the vice presidential slot for Hillary Clinton, but it was no obstacle to serving in the Obama administration. Starting out as President Obama’s Assistant Attorney General in 2009 under far-left Attorney General Eric Holder, Perez headed up the controversy-filled civil rights division and showed what he was truly about.

Right out the gate, the Black Panther voter suppression controversy came up. New Black Panther Party goons were filmed lurking at voting stations with truncheons in a bid to intimidate voters in Philadelphia during the 2008 election. Instead of prosecute the obvious violation of voter rights, Perez opted to drop charges. After all, it was his party that benefited.

After that, the issue of undelivered and uncounted military ballots, affecting overseas servicemen came up. Perez’s department did nothing to rectify the situation and declined to prosecute states or failing to deliver ballots. Only when they had been made aware that demographics were changing as to who the military voters were voting for, meaning Democrats, was any action at all taken.

Then there was the effort to halt voter fraud in Florida, where Perez’s DoJ filed a lawsuit to stop Florida from purging its voter rolls of 182,000 non-citizens. In June 2012, it was thrown out by a Clinton-appointed federal judge.

Yup! Trump needs to ramp up his appointments, all nuclear appointments. The 2/3 nonsense is long over with. The Rats will forever use the nuke option anymore.

Lose an election, turn to some obscure technicality in the law to either overturn or invalidate the outcome of the election, or failing that, tie up the resources of the person defending themselves in the lawsuit to the point they cannot govern effectively.

Saul Alinsky at his finest. Not that is very much virtue in even the best he came up with.

Somebody has got to get the business of the world done.

Perez will take credit for achieving this, when Trump made it happen. This guy may not be that stupid.

Thanks for that.

Casa de Maryland-—that’s the onetime employer of ex-DHS henchman Leon Rodrigues.....Obama’s hand-picked boy.

Zillions of Latinos, and Muslims, got fast-tracked into the US.

Lawsuits by the carload.

Man, Valerie must be busy as a beaver writing solicitation letters for Obama's get-rich-quick foundations (two that we know of).

B/c nothing raises money as fast as a lawsuit.....well maybe a death threat.

The "tolerance and compassion" of foundation donors can be milked forever.

The lawsuits are an Obama get-rich-quick fund-raising scam.....no question.

Funded largely by enemies of USConstitution, both foreign and domestic; e.g., Saudi Arabia and other Islam country fortunes, Soros, large corporations like Google, Starbucks, IBM...
Interesting that what started out as USA _capitalist_ corporation are now _not_ USA institutions, but purely global/international.

If they do this, it means the last peaceful transition in our history is already in our past.

No President will ever have settled tenure again.

Sure that’s going to work because I’m sure Trump has no experience handling lawsuits.....

>Lawsuits is how they effectively took out Gov. Palin. It worked for them then. It is not a strategy at which to sneeze.

We won’t accept it this time. The courts legitimacy is getting mighty thin.

Perez will take credit for achieving this, when Trump made it happen.

If so, the MSM and Hollywood will fall right in line. I can actually see this happening.

Time for PRESIDENT Trump to start suing back. I’d sure hate to be the next ‘RAT who gets elected as president. That bastard is toast already. Americans will go nuclear on his/her ass.
