Former NAACP branch president Rachel Dolezal, who lied about being black but still identifies as black, is now jobless, living on food stamps and expects to lose her home next month.
"There's no protected class for me," the former NAACP branch president told The Guardian. "I'm this generic, ambiguous scapegoat for white people to call me a race traitor and take out their hostility on. And I'm a target for anger and pain about white people from the black community. It's like I am the worst of all these worlds."
Dolezal has applied for over 100 jobs, but has received no offers, even from a supermarket. She has, however, been offered work in porn and reality TV. While a friend helped pay her rent for February, Dolezal expects she'll lose her home next month.

Target of anger and pain from both black and white communities ... no protected class for her ... believes that a more complex label would be helpful, but we don't really have that vocabulary ... feels like the idea of being trans-black would be much more accurate than "I'm white" because you know, she's not white ... is not going to stoop and apologize and grovel and feel bad about it ... hopes that one of you bigoted Freepers would offer her a job.

Well she could always get married and have kids. Changing her name would be a pretty good idea. Porn industry is a non-starter for her I think. Working with a bag over her head is probably not a good career goal.

There is a timely solution for her do it yourself plight:
She can cover herself up with a burka and a hijab and a niqab, so only her eyes show and she’ll look like every Muslim woman out of the town. If she says she’s a Muslim, she’ll be accepted as one. If she says she’s a black Muslim, they’ll probably go along with that, too. But the downside is she would not be free to change her mind.
Would this not qualify as a physical handicap for her?
Can she no longer cash in on white privilege? Does she no longer qualify? This stuff gets so confusing.
The “self identification as black” along with her statement reveals that this is a mentally and emotionally troubled young lady. And that’s why she is unemployed and soon to be homeless. She really needs professional help.

Wrong...The Americans with Disabilities Act will cover you under their mental health provisions...just walk up to a black case worker in the Disability Claims Office, explain your situation...you won't even need a Doctor's note...

So she built her past career on an easily-debunked lie, is still in denial that she lied, and is surprised that no one wants to hire a famous liar?
I would tell her to get real but that will never happen.
