The head of the National Rifle Association painted anti-Donald Trump protesters as violent extremists and compared their disruptions to terrorism during a speech to the Conservative Political Action Conference on Friday.
"Ladies and gentlemen, another definition of terrorism is violence in the name of politics," said Wayne Lapierre, executive director of the NRA. "And criminal violence has no place in political debate."
Police have clashed, at times, with crowds gathered to protest the new president. But the hundreds of demonstrations that have taken place around the globe have been largely peaceful.

It is no crime to conceal-carry at a town hall. It is only a crime to shoot the Congressman (or unelected innocent bystanders).
The protesters get violent causing the government to crack down on them and thus proving the protesters’ point that Trump is “Hitler”. The protesters are creating the situation about which they protest.
Correct. They are terrorists.

Actually, violence DOES have a place in politics. It is called WAR.
Actually terrorism relies on the same principle, only writ large: now way can a few hundred people overthrow any but the smallest nation, but they can provoke an overreaction that causes the people to turn against the government or the government to retaliate in a way that causes it vast amounts of tamale WRT blood and treasure,
What the Trump administration is doing brilliantly is trying to keep the left from framing the discussion. Once the other side gets to choose the language and the frame of the debate, you have lost, no matter how good your logic or brilliant your operational strategy.
Fortunately, I'm pretty sure Bannon and others in the administration have read ‘Rules For Radicals’; and since we conservatives behave in the fact based real world pretty effectively the left has much more of a fight on its hands than it ever did in the GWB or Nixon administrations.
Just came back from 1 for my Congress critter in Jefferson County, AL. The forum was the Hoover City Hall. It had a sign out front stating no weapons permitted inside.

I couldn’t agree more. Bought and PAID FOR ‘protestors.’ This is NOT some sort of, ‘organic’ movement, as they claim.

The radical left, which is nearly mainstream left, has learned well from Islamic terror, seeking to terrify anyone who disagrees with them by smashing, burning and chasing down anyone who isn’t part of their regime.

What do concealed carriers have to do with the thousands of moonbat liberals rioting, burning, looting and attacking Trump supporters around the country?

The proper term for people paid to carry out mass violence is “mecenaries.”
Protesters are nonviolent.
Terrorism defined by law is nebulous and vague.
The military definition for decades was “The application of a military level of violence against a civilian target for a political purpose.” That is probably too succinct for people trained in law or journalism to spin and twist.
