I’m old enough to remember that patriarch George H W Bush was a supporter of Planned Parenthood until it became politically inconvenient, then he disavowed them and claimed to be pro-life. The damned Bushes wrecked the GOP, the father took Reagan’s legacy and threw it out the window in favor of a new world order of globalism, the son pushed for two things only in his Presidency: war and amnesty. And in between the two, they took over the party and turned it into a party of stealth democrats that lie about conservatism so as to make sure that proper globalists are in office no matter who wins elections.
I have no respect for old Bush. He threw the Constitution out the window, when he subjected the cops in the Rodney King case to double jeopardy. I have despised him ever since.
Not just war and amnesty. He also pushed for a re-authorization of the AWB; he apparently put several very liberal federal judges in place; his signature health care and education reforms were LBJ-type initiatives; be inserted the federal govt into churches.
I’m glad folks here are finally opening their eyes.
