If you were a supporter of his from the beginning, you should get it. He's always preparing the media ground for the battle, or responding to public attacks, or resistance to his policies. It is because he recognizes the importance in his efforts of having public support. I suspect the first spade has been turned in a bruising battle with the alphabets.

And as for this 3 dem impeachment THEY ARE NUTS, Ryan and McConnell aren’t giving up their chairs for them. Nor can a judge do it, nor petitions. They face a Trump loving public backlash. I have been a strong supporter of his since early in the summer of 2015.
I lived in New York in the 1970s and 1980s and have admired him since then.
I think it is unusual for a boss to write a public complaint about someone below him in the chain of command. This is the first time I believe President Trump has written a tweet like this.

I’ve noticed something. If an article has two or more authors it is undoubtedly going to be fake news, or news from an unlisted source.
I assume that it has previously been discussed directly. That’s what surprises me about his public criticism of the FBI. He could fire Comey in a heartbeat if he wanted to do that. Can he put more pressure on him by criticizing his agency in a public tweet than he could by calling him into the Oval Office and reaming him out? I would think a face-to-face meeting would have more impact. And if he has had that meeting (as I assume he has), then why tweet about the problem?

This acts as a "pep talk" to the soldiers - the American people. That is, in fact, an element of leadership.
It also very commonly has no relationship to the command actions taken outside the limelight.

One excellent reason for Trump to lay it out in public is to head the MSM off at the pass. If he fires Comey in a heartbeat, out of the blue, so-called journalists will lose their minds via uncontrolled hysteria. If Trump fires Comey after a reasonable interval, following this tweet, the Leftist reporters will be confronted with the astutely laid groundwork, every time they launch into hysterical screeching.
