South Florida residents attended a town hall meeting, Thursday, all with the intentions of voicing their grievances about the current administration in Washington D.C.

The event was organized by Indivisible Miami, who say they invited Rubio. However, Rubios office said they were unaware of any invitation.
Rubios office told 7News, We have been fully accessible and responsive to constituents, and our staff has already met with hundreds of these liberal activists at our offices across Florida. As their manual reveals, their goal is to stage a hostile atmosphere, record themselves booing no matter what is said, and refuse to give up the microphone.
“Rubio was not present at the event, and a suit jacket was draped over a chair reserved for him.”
Talk to the chair libtards!
Fake News even has video of Rubio at the airport.... makes it look like he is fleeing from cops.
Pathetic fake news.
Be ready for eight years of this.
The first word of the headline is “Locals” and the first words of the article are “South Florida residents”. Do you think they are trying to frame the article to deflect attention from the George Soros-funded astroturfing that is going on?

TALKING POINTS--- An Obama-tied activist group training tens of thousands of agitators to protest President Trumps policies plans to hit Republican lawmakers supporting those policies even harder this week, when they return home for the congressional recess and hold town hall meetings and other functions.
Organizing for Action, founded by Obama and featured prominently on his new post-presidency website, is distributing a training manual to anti-Trump activists that advises them to bully GOP lawmakers into backing off support for repealing ObamaCare, curbing immigration from high-risk Islamic nations, and building a border wall.
OFA calls on activists to mobilize against Republicans from now until Feb. 26, when representatives are going to be in their home districts. The protesters disrupted town halls earlier this month, including one held in Utah by House Oversight Chairman Jason Chaffetz, who was confronted by hundreds of angry demonstrators claiming to be his constituents.
The manual, published with OFA partner Indivisible, advises protesters to go into halls quietly so as not to raise alarms, and grab seats at the front of the room but do not all sit together. Rather, spread out in pairs to make it seem like the whole room opposes the Republican hosts positions. This will help reinforce the impression of broad consensus.
It also urges them to ask hostile questions while keeping a firm hold on the mic and loudly boo the the GOP politician if he isnt giving you real answers. Express your concern [to the events hosts] they are giving a platform to pro-Trump authoritarianism, racism, and corruption, it says.
The goal is to make Republicans, even from safe districts, second-guess their support for the Trump agenda, and to prime the ground for the 2018 midterms when Democrats retake power. Even the safest [Republican] will be deeply alarmed by signs of organized opposition, the Obama document states, because these actions create the impression that theyre not connected to their district and not listening to their constituents.
Unfavorable exchanges caught on video can be devastating for Republican lawmakers, it says, when shared through social media and picked up by local and national media. After protesters gave MSNBC, CNN and the networks footage of their dust-up with Chaffetz, for example, the outlets ran them continuously, forcing Chaffetz to issue statements defending himself. During the Obama years, the Democrats lost a net 13 Senate seats, 63 House seats, nine governorships and more than 1,000 state and local elected positions.
It's time to start winning but Democrats think they can win just by stressing their deep goodness over Trump's evil.
Democrats just aren't making the effort to appeal to their natural fun-loving base: like crackheads, the endearing Black Lives Matter and Burqua-wearing sophisticates.
It was south Florida. They are probably locals, at least in the sense that anyone in south Florida is a “local”. It’s a hotbed of yankee liberalism down there.
I find it interesting that they hold rallies just to record themselves booing. This is what they consider to be serious discourse now.
These Liberals had a fake Townhall and the Fake Media covered it.
Just Google “WSVN News anchors arrested” for a rich history into WSVN and it’s employees.
Rick Sanchez is one of them-DUI Manslaughter
Soros is basically bussing in agitators to agitate agitatedly at these town halls. It’s all fake. Reps would do well to not dignify them, either by acknowledging them or showing up
Exactly. The farce is that the south Florida media dutifully follows these snowflakes like obedient dogs. I can tell you that a legitimate grass roots Tea Party spoke up regularly against Obama’s statism. The Tea Party didn’t receive favorable coverage.
If they wanted Rubio to be present, they should have made the event a Foam Party.
I don’t understand why Cubans are not screaming about Obama cutting off the old “make it to shore”...welcome to the USA.
#fakeprotesters...
At some point consevatives are going to have to organize counter protests -if Obama sends 100, conservatives should aend 1000. Know that the Organizer’s plan is send protesters to every event for photo ops..
Rubio’s staff made an EXCELLENT response to this, calling out the Indivisible activists by exposing their tactics. They don’t want to meet privately with legislators, they want press coverage, so their meltdowns can be televised nationally.
I emailed Senator Rubio to thank him for the way this was handled, even though I am from Pennsylvania. We need to support all our legislators as they continue to take a beating from the left.
Other legislators can take a lesson from how this was handled. I also think all townhalls should require ID to get in, to make sure they are constituents.
